can we just lock this thing?
He should still come to the MSU spring game.
What is that, a Titleist? A hole in one...
He probably will. Recruiting never stops until the LOI comes in
This guy is a major tool. Hope Dantonio doesn't allow him on campus.
"People don't care how much you know until they know how much you care." - Mark Dantonio.
Eh, anyone who says they're glad he didn't choose MSU is lying. That said, he's now committed to the evil empire and the rivalry just ramped up a little more, so there is some entertainment value in that. It's going to be fun to watch him against our defense. We'll find out soon enough how good he actually is.
Don't be afraid to go over the middle, kid.
"RCMB: You will never find a more wretched hive of scum and villainry." - some dude from MgoBlog
Their helmets have wings!!!
And they won 11 national championships....before World War I!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
He won't end up at scum. They are gonna struggle this year and every single coach in the country is going to be in his ear about it.
No? A Harris thread is on here more these days that Jabari threads three months ago...
Me too. Likely destination is $EC with Bama the odds on favorite.
Posting member of tRCMB since 1997.
It is ALWAYS a great day to be a Spartan!!!!
Whoever he is, it sounds as if he thought he would get on with Alabama or LSU or some such. That didn't work out, and he got bad vibes about MSU's dedication to him, so he had to settle for um.
Thats basically what I meant. If he's not choosing us, why not them? Makes for some pretty good entertainment
You seriously don't see how Drake Harris, a player previously committed to MSU, is relevant news when committing to our rival?
I understand how much some people hate talking about UM on here, but holy hell you are stupid if you don't think this is relevant to MSU.
Drake "Fredo" Harris has landed in aa? He is dead to me.
No matter where he goes he's till a tall, slightly built WR who has never played against db's who are as fast and bigger/stronger. This is true no matter where he decided to go. I remember EGR's Kevin Grady who was as heralded nationally as Harris. Once he started playing against equal competition Grady was very ordinary and was forgotten.
Whatever man. If you didn't see this coming then you are stupid. The signs have been pointing to this happening for a while.
I know people want to be PC and take the so-called high road, but it's clear that this kid has a lot of growing up to do. On a scale of 1-10, he's at a 2 for how well he's handled this process.
That quote about winning national championships is still hilarious to me. Pick Bama or Urban. An 8-5 team with one conference title in the past decade? The overselling capabilities of Michigan football are impressive.

I don't fault the kid for making whatever decision he felt like making, I will say that he made MSU look really bad in the way that he made it. There are ways to do things that respect the other schools... He made sure to take as big of a shit on us as possible. All of the other schools came out all right in his recruitment. He made MSU look second rate. I think he knew exactly what he was doing too.
Michigan State does not and will not run the 3-4 defense.
Sparty is our mascot, we are Spartans.
Pretty obvious that UM is selling the recruiting as evidence of their future success. Time will tell
Probably because up until this morning, he was an uncommitted in state recruit that was formerly committed to MSU and was scheduled an MSU visit next weekend.
Such a perfect um thing to do
Dantonio and staff have had a few hard breaks every year but ultimately, I prefer kids who are sure they want to come here. For the most part, Dantonio has proven that you can coach kids up to compete with almost anyone. Alabama is an NFL team, but against almost anybody else, I'd give the spartans a fighting chance under this regime. That's all I've ever wanted. Kids be doin' dumb shit. Whatever.
