If you have never seen the 18 episodes of "Freaks & Geeks" that aired on NBC in 2000, go to Netflix and watch them ASAP!
This is the TV show that launched the acting careers of Linda Cardellini,, James Franco, Jason Segel, Busy Phillips, and Seth Rogan, and the movie directing career of Jud Apatow.
The story of a short-lived, much-beloved series as told by its cast and crew, including Judd Apatow, Seth Rogen, James Franco, Jason Schwartzman and Jason Segel.
I enjoyed that.
The "whipping post" episode was awesome... And the only one I ever saw.
Marriage is like flying with kids, if the flight had 500 connections, never ended, Ted Striker were your pilot and you ate the fish.
Draymond Green, Magic Johnson, and Oscar Robertson are the only players to have two triple-doubles in the NCAA Tournament.
If you don't like this show, I don't like you.
This is one of the best shows of the last 25 years.
Bill Haverchuck in Dead Dogs and Gym Teachers. Touching scene.
I bet you rock it like a super stud in your Parisian Night Suit!
Of course, its the hottest thing going in Europe right now. Every trend setting guy in the city is gonna own one.
Another one of my favorite scenes.
From Looks and Books.
Like five of those people are legit, big-money famous.
And that one nerdy girl is really hot now.
What is that, a Titleist? A hole in one...
That show was so ahead of it's time - just was too "real" for network TV. And NBC screwed the pooch they way they kept taking off the air every other week and moving it around on the schedule.
F&G is a show that AMC could probably do now, and do it very successfully.
NBC? Screwing the pooch?
Wow, that's a great scene. Thanks.
Milly is so much hotter than Cindy now.
Players play, tough players win.
I hope people have also seen Undeclared. It was sadly canceled after one year as well.
It's lighter fair than F+G, but it is hilarious and very well done. Highly, highly recommended. Seth Rogen even wrote a couple episodes for Undeclared, and you see a lot of previous F+G actors come back for small roles.
The best is Jason Segel playing one of the main characters' older boyfriend. He easily steals every scene he's in.
Anyway, they're all on youtube so take a few hours and watch them. Well worth your time.
amazing what the cast of that show has done. launched a lot of careers.
Your average UofM fan and I have something in common, neither of us went to UofM. Though we do share One major difference, I got Accepted.
Okay, one more clip (or set of clips).
Probably the saddest moment of the show is when Alan confesses to Bill he likes things they like, but he can't bring himself to join them at the convention.
Alan the Bully in " Chokin' and Tokin' " episode of "Freaks and Geeks".
Awesome show. Been a while since I went back and watched the dvd's, gonna have to do that soon. And I'm glad it got cancelled after one season, would of hated to see it go on and ruin itself. The one season is what makes people remember it so well
One of my all-time favorites. A reunion show would be a winner.
Oh my god is that Lizzy Caplan and Martin Starr? I am going to have to watch this now.
Incredible show. Would have loved took see a second season. Apatow was spot on with his characters on this show. The last couple episodes were the weakest of season 1, I always wondered if that played into the decision to cancel.
Starr as Bill was the best geek performance in the history of TV.
Great intro. Jason Segal just makes me cringe.
Episodes and song list: http://adf.ly/FUJf1 Its two different groups of teenagers, the Freaks with cool and charisma...

This scene NEVER fails to crack me up.
Freaks and Geeks, short clip from The garage door. Neil gets a present.
Interesting trivia, the bully is played by the same kid that played Squints in The Sandlot.
