Seems like almost every game they struggled to score even 50 points in a game. Not a recipe for overall success in the post season.
"I love March!" - Tom Izzo
holy shit. that is utterly embarrassing.
Don't worry though, they pretty much always exceed expectations. http://mbd.scout.com/mb.aspx?s=193&f=2565&t=11400482
"Put your mother in a straight-jacket you punk ass white boy." ~ Mike Tyson
I actually gave him one extra win by double entering the 12 seed today. so he's 16-12 w/ four wins over single digit seeds
No shit. It's not like Mitch McGary plays for Wisconsin.
Wisconsin was drained wahhhhhhh
Miami won the ACC conference AND tourney and just beat Pacific by 30-something. Cry me a river.
What is that, a Titleist? A hole in one...
this has gotta be one of the dumbest posts on here.
8 teams played on sunday 3/17 as part of their conference tourney. All of them made the NCAA tourney.
VCU - won by 46. shot 53% 50% from 3
St. Louis - won by 20. shot 46% 36% from 3
Played Today (Friday)
Miami - won today by 29. shot 46% 54% from 3
ole miss - won today by 11 shot 38% 20% from 3
Wisco - lost today by 11. shot 25% 23% from 3
Oregon won their conference tournament. OK State lost in the semis of their conference tournament.
OK State had legs! They lost to Oregon though.
That's funny. I could have swore UW was playing a team who also was in a conference tourney and played their championship game on Sunday.
I think a better explanation that when it comes to NCAA Tournament basketball, Bo Ryan sucks more than all of the Vegas hookers combined.
If they could bring Ed "call the charge with gusto" Hightower and Teddy "Wisconsin is taught not to foul" Valentine with them to the tourney they'd still be in.
Hang the banners
I disagree...Wusconsin tries to slow the game down to a grudge match and counts on getting it's edge by drawing fouls by flopping.
NCAA tournament refs RARELY fall for their flopping ways and it costs them. I watched the second half of the game and Wisconsin failed on 2 of their flop attempts at crucial moments in the game.
They didn't look any different than they did in about 1/2 of their games this year. Overly dependent on slow footed guys shooting 3's, defense grounded in walking under shooters and faking charges.
Let's look at the "tired" legs of the Big East. Tournament Champion 2012-Louisville final four, 2011- UConn NCAA Champion 2010-West Virginia Final Four, 2009 Louisville Lost Reg Final (to MSU), 2008 Pittsburgh- lost 2nd rd (to MSU) 2007 Georgetown Final Four. I guess these tournaments killed their NCAA hopes.
I don't think he's that old yet.
and UConn played 5 games in 5 days in 2011.
MSU won the BTT in 2000, how did that season finish up?
Last year's Final Four teams:
Kentucky - won lost in finals of SEC tourney
Louisville - won Big East tournament
Kansas - lost in Big 12 semis,
Ohio State - lost in BTT finals

No, it's Exhibit M on why the wusconsin vadgers are useless.
