Do you seen any symbolism in the fact that the bombs were made out of pressure cookers?
Perhaps a rogue fat guy who wanted to strike out at fit people at the finish line of a marathon?
It seems a little more than coincidental, wouldn't you say Fletch?
After watching the interview with the roommate of the questioned individual, it shows how gross our reporters are. The individual obviously really doesn't know anything and is probably more confused and scared than anything. The reporters no nothing, yet were all over him like flies on poop. Not even asking good questions but rather "what did you apt look like after". Give it a break and let the story develop a little. No randomly ask and jump on a person as they leave their apt.
Don't get carried away. Either make this the official condolences only thread or give a little leeway. No way is fletch crossing a line here.
I must be crazy to be in a loony bin like this.
Interesting. There was a doctor who happened to be watching his wife run in the race on the news last night. He mentioned that there was a "young lady" next to him who had died. This must be her.
He mentioned that he checked her body for wounds and couldn't find any, which he found odd. This doesn't list her cause of death either.
Saw this too. And thought the exact same thing. Also thought it was funny that whoever was interviewing him on CNN was screwing it up. Kept saying they were a doctor at a near by hospital and was at the hospital helping, but really was from NC and was helping at the site. THen said wife lived and Boston but really was only visiting because they run the Marathon a lot. Maybe I miss heard the info about them but seemed like they were getting a lot of information wrong last night and wanted to make stories happen where they werent.
Personally, I don't think a fat guy would just waste perfectly good pressure cookers like that. But maybe just maybe we could find a rogue fat guy on this site and ask his opinion?
A month flies by around here!
thanks for posting that article Spartytruth. They did list the Bath, MI bombing of 1927:
— May 18, 1927: 45 people — 38 of them children — are killed when a school district treasurer, Andrew Kehoe, lines the Bath Consolidated School near Lansing, Mich., with hundreds of pounds of dynamite, and blows it up. Investigators say Kehoe, who also died in the blast, thought he would lose his farm because he couldn't pay property taxes used to build the school.
............I hadn't read about that in many years and SOMEHOW remembered it as a janitor being the bomber. As it says above, it was actually a school district treasurer.....unreal.

Oops, that's not right...
Oh man, that sucks.
Also, the 2nd victim looks like the girl in the blue top whose pulse was being checked by the emergency medical worker.
No, but I'm now a firm believer in background checks on people wanting to buy them.
Mlive, Fox News and MSNBC for me...wanna cover all my bases I guess. Financially speaking I rely on the Wall Street Journal. Drudge?
I'm assuming you saw the thread dedicated to you.
Man, I love it when someone goes off the rails around here.
Total tilt. Can't control himself.
I actually, Michigan history buff that I am, have a scrapbook made by one of the surviving children from the time, newspaper articles, all sorts of memorabilia from when it happened. It was a free publication awhile back. Actually very interesting. I believe he also killed his wife before going to the school and there was at least one more bomb(in his truck I think) that killed some of the initial survivors from inside the school.

Krystle Campbell, a 29-year-old from Medford, Mass., has been identified as the second victim who lost her life in the Boston Marathon bombing. This is a developing story
And it was an accident that it went off in the AM. He had meant for the bomb to go off in the PM. He was not trying to blow up the students he was trying to blow up the Administration that were suppose to meet at night time.
Drudge just links you to news sites,,,.......
Deadspin has an informative yet funny article addressing what is accurate and inaccurate. Best part:
Did you see that guy on the roof?
Yeah, we saw Roof Guy. The presence of Roof Guy would only be suspicious if watching marathons from rooftops wasn't an ultra-common thing to do, or if police surveillance didn't regularly keep watch from rooftop posts. But no, you're probably right. That guy's up to no good. Way to crack this case wide open.
Maybe it's Bigfoot? Maybe it's Obama?
Conspiracies theories of all kinds bloomed in the immediate aftermath of the bombings. Like the one from the University of Mobile's cross country coach, who thought it was really weird that there were bomb-sniffing dogs at the start and finish lines. Again, these are common at major events since 9/11, and they don't indicate there were any specific threats. (Authorities said there were none.)
As with any crisis, early information is incomplete and sometimes outright wrong. The day after the Boston Marathon bombings, a clearer picture has emerged. Lets get up to speed with where things stand right now.
Look at her pretty blue eyes
Those articles bring it all home.
she was beautiful....and so was the 8 year old boy.....RIP to both
I used to sort of chuckle at conspiracy theory stuff like that, and every once in a while it would intrigue me (Hey I loved the X-files what can I say?) but honestly it seems like ever since 9/11 and the "Truthers" or whatever, the conspiracy folks aren't funny anymore, they're just scary and hateful and paranoid.
It's no longer "Oswald was set up, there was another gunman" it's "The government had threats and didn't care!" "Muslims are savages!" "FALSE FLAG!! OBAMA DERRRRRRP!"
