They have more talent. I mean freaking Lynch transfers and they don't miss a beat.
Hurried qb because O-line struggle. If O-line is better there is less pressure but Bell didn't go for 200 yards so it was pin your ears back time. Even if the passes aren't in perfect rhythm between the qb and the receivers they should be able to hold on to more balls that are hitting them in the hands.
There is more to the Arnett story than is getting out. Don't know whether its attitude, slow to pick up on offense or inability to play well with others but its not often a 4* is sitting as much as he has been.
What the fuck?!
C'mon, man. You can say what you want about his play, but to say a fellow Spartan is a worthless human being is way out of line. Way out of line.
Athletes are my entertainment slaves. I used human being for lack of a better word.
I'm bothered that purdue put up more of a fight than we did
Time to reevaluate, then, lest you become the negative net worth human being you accuse our player of being.
I don't think Maxwell can be accurately judged yet. OL was TURRIBLE tonight. How many drops by WR/RBs?
No kidding. 5 guys blocking 4 most of the night and ND got pressure almost every time. Amazing.
The moment is eternal
If you want to see what a talented and athletic OL looks like tune in and watch Alabama for a quarter. They are pretty much the gold standard and remind me of the old USC lines of the 70s. They get downfield almost as fast as their RBs and get clear out the LBers after they dispatch the DL. They are all big, fast and athletic and probably all are going to play on Sundays.
Suck it nanncy.
And people say you dont look at stars when recruiting. Sheldon day was a 5 star recruit and he just manhandled double teams tonight
I have an MBA...Master at Being Amazing
Amazing how many people jump off the bandwagon at the first sign of adversity.
It doesn't help when #55 goes untouched at least 5-6 times. The line, especially France, needs to communicate better with the blitz pickups.......France was pretty horrible this evening.
its not jumping off the bandwagon...its seeing reality and taking off the green goggles
This. Fowler has yet to make a 'big' play. Give Maxwell last years' receivers and he's not wearing a target on his back.
Then you bother very easily
I only have two questions after tonight.
1. Is the mediocre recruiting catching up with us finally? I enjoy the fact that coach finds all these diamonds in the rough but at some point you have to get the prime talent.
2. Was last year the pinnacle of MSU football in my lifetime? Is 2nd in the BIG and a nice bowl win the apex of this program?

#7 is one of the best d-lineman in the country, i think you guys are blowing this way out of proportion and you still have a great chance to win the big Ten and play in a bcs game, just like last year.
The wr's are struggling, but maxwell throws ducks and wobblers, a lot.
I love MSU more than ever, but it's frustrating that or OC left, and we replaced him with a re-tread that never had much success, and wasn't the best recruiter.
It shows on the field. Bad play calls, predictable calls, bad scheme, no tempo.
They have nfl talent, but they let up 6 sacks to western kentucky
Not defending our line, but that's not the gold standard
On the O-Line yes. You can't block the type of stud defensive linemen Notre Dame and the SEC has with a guy who was a linebacker in high school (France).
This O-Line is back on their heels against average to good D-Lines and guys are running by them almost every third play. It's not pretty.
Tough to judge the O behind that OL. They make everyone look bad.
He's right, Norman should have caught the ball. That said, the O isn't doing anything with it if he does.
Was that game in South Bend?
