Just thinking about how how many things had to go MSUs way just to get the Midwest 1 seed and win the title.
#1 We would have to win the BTT
#2 We would have to had OSU lose early on the BTT.
#3 We would had to have Cincy lose early in the CUSA tourney. Not only did they lose, they also lost Kenyon Martin as well.
Would we have won a NC if we would of placed lets say in the South or West regions?

Your a retard.
It was a very Entertaining argument when I was living in Big 12 country, especially KMart breaking his leg. That changed everything.
The seed had nothing to do with winning the title. Those boys won the title because they had the best fucking team and weren't going to be denied. Wouldn't have mattered if they came in as a 16 seed.
Here's a bullshit hypothetical. What would that team's record have been if Cleaves was healthy all year?
I am gravely disappointed. Again you have made me unleash my dogs of war.
I bring that into the argument all the time.
We worked our asses off for that title. Had to go through a very good Syracuse team that was under seeded, then had to beat a loaded Iowa St. team in the regional finals that most would agree was the second best team in the country that year. We had BY FAR the hardest path to the FF. Meanwhile the other regions were complete clusterfucks with 2 8 seeds advancing all the way through. I think you could make the argument that we would've had a much easier path if we were placed differently.
Oh, and who gives a crap anyways?
...over a decade ago.
It was beaten to death. Why bring the topic back up?
What does this have to do with ladies climbing into caskets?
Did you not hear what Cleaves told the Breslin Center on March 4, 2000????? It was in the bag.
