They may raid the Atlantic 10 for St Josephs, LaSalle, Xavier St Louis, Dayton and St Bonaventure. They are hoping for Butler and Gonzaga. The northeast has a tradition of Catholic universities w/ good basketball programs and academics. I would like to see them pick up some of the smaller Catholic schools and make something out of their programs, schools like Holy Cross, Fordham and even St Peters.
I was just thinking the same thing yesterday. I do know the PAC 12 too but I live in that part of the country.
Unless it gets challenged in court and the clause is found to be unenforceable or unreasonable.

So why isn't Detroit-Mercy even in the discussion for these Catholic B-ball conferences.... facilities, attendance, talent ?
