I like Bill. And he goes to a sporting event whenever he does a gig. He has almost been to every pro stadium/arena.
he's my favorite comedian.
Yeah, he posted an old clip of it on Facebook/Twitter yesterday...funny shit. Love his twittering...
I used to hear his stuff on XM and then saw him live in Denver. I will say that my face hurt from laughing at the end of it. However, I saw him again a couple years later and not quite as funny...maybe the novelty wore off a little, but I really do like his humor. The offended lady in the crowd thing is very original and somewhat genius if you ask me.
Funny as hell
Gaffigan is hilarious! Our whole family enjoys his comedy. Very little swearing and other crap kids don't need to hear.
Agree wholeheartedly. I'm not offended by swearing one bit, but a lot of comedians rely on it to generate laughs. I saw Gaffigan live in December 2011 and he did over an hour without uttering one curse word and his set did not suffer because of it.
I would say that Gaffigan gets old faster than my favorite stand-ups (to name a few in no order: Bill Burr, Doug Stanhope, Nick Swardson, Joe Rogan, several guys who are dead now), but he's solidly on the right side of comedy (read: not a hack). If someone tells me they're a fan of Gaffigan, I have a generally neutral reaction (as opposed to Jeff Dunham fans, Dane Cook fans, etc.).
A society grows great when old men plant trees whose shade they know they shall never sit in.
Little known fact: Jim Gaffigan played football at Georgetown on scholarship, but later quit the team.

Hide yo quarterbackz, hide yo kidz, the MSU defense is here
I saw him a few years back and I was laughing so hard at his bowling bit that I thought I was gonna die.
"Good thing that Messiah thing worked out. He built a shed for my cousin and it was a piece of crap"
I vote very funny.
Fuck off, Nucky!
Not cool! It's me! I just forgot my password and don't have access to my old email.

I'm surprised he has so much love in this thread. I don't find him funny at all. That stupid little voice he does annoys the crap out of me. He is also whipped, he lets his wife write for him these days. A real comedian would never let that happen. Just like the blue collar guys attract rednecks, he apparently attracts the older husband and wife and maybe kids who find his hotpocket material funny.
This. His stupid high pitched, breathy voice gets annoying real quick.
Him and Sebastian Maniscalco are my two favorites.
Funny as hell. OP wouldn't know hilarious if it mushroom stamped his forehead while he was passed out in a Greek bathhouse.
