That doesn't prove anything.
That'll leave us with a front line of Costello, Gauna, Dawson and Kaminsky for 2 positions. Add in a little Russell Byrd in case of emergency and you have a front line that's still better than the one that saw Andy Harvey seeing minutes.
"losing Caleb Benenoch is a blow that Dantonio will never recover from. Izzo has lost it as well. Hoke and Beilein own the state."
I've seen Schilling play this year. No way he's ready for Big Ten as a true frosh, but I like his potential a lot. He needs a year to bulk up. Playing with the Findlay boys the last few years will help but he's not there.
"Tonight, we show the world what this program is made of!" -- Brian Ellerbe on Mar 4, 2000, the night of scUM's 51-point loss to MSU.
He's 6'9" 205 lbs. I could be wrong but he doesn't sound or look like a MSU center to me. At least not early on in his career.
Yeah... It's almost like he's a Plan C recruit.
(and that deserves to be down voted. But it is true)

Marriage is like flying with kids, if the flight had 500 connections, never ended, Ted Striker were your pilot and you ate the fish.
Since you're either too lazy or too stupid (I'm guessing it's both) to read through that link to find his name mentioned or to go to tBrez forum, I'll help you out.
(and I returned the -1 vote)
Henderson (Nev.) Findlay Prep forward Gavin Schilling is in the process of taking official visits and recently picked a weekend to check out East Lansing.

I read the news today, oh boy .. ..
About a lucky man who made the grade
I'd just like to have a player with the same complexion as Blake Griffin, I wish he was a ginger.
He will need to bulk up, I don't think he plays vertical enough to be effective in the B1G at his current size without a 3 point shot. I won't be too upset if he goes to UCLA since '14 is so loaded and he most likely won't contribute next year anyway.
Hope we get him. You never know how guys are going to pan out, so might as well land the kid. I still wish we'd offered a pasty three point specialist with a weird name. Why can't WE have one of those?!
I saw him once on ESPN, I believe against the Harrison twins that are going to Kentucky. He's a solid player. Fairly athletic, runs the floor pretty well, and seems to have a good head on his shoulders. No where near being ready physically to compete in the B1G, so I'd be stunned that if he chose MSU he wouldn't redshirt.
Kind of reminds me of Jordan Morgan (there, I said it).
I've seen that listed in a few different places, and if true, or even within 15 lbs of accuracy, that's comforting as his skill set shows potential.
I'd take a Jordan Morgan type.............if he could make a lay up

@GSchills32: I will now be announcing my decision at 12 30 pm PST opposed to 11 15 am!!!!!
because he doesn't play defense or rebound.
I did not down vote you, bro.
Read the whole thread.
Oh, and you suck at parties.

A quick summary for people who don't know anything about him:
Schilling is from Chicago and was playing at La Salle either last year or the year before. He transferred out to Findlay in Henderson/Las Vegas because it's a powerhouse program. I believe at least one of his parents still lives in Chicago, because MSU's proximity to Chicago is considered a plus. His dad is German, and Schilling wants to major in international business.
People have been talking about him as either a PF or C depending on who you ask, but he would add depth at either position. His game is absolutely nothing like Kaminski's.
He has said lots of good things about MSU and Izzo, and most observers think it's down to us and UCLA. I will be happy to land him, but won't be surprised or that disappointed if he picks UCLA. He has said he prefers city living and likes LA. He has a teammate from Findlay also headed there, can't remember his name. If he really wants to commit there without knowing how the Howland situation is going to shake out, that's his loss.

You've obviously never been there. it would like going to college in bloomfield hills. really nice, really beautiful but about as far from a big city as you can get.
-1 to you, richard.
"No one cares what you know, until they know how much you care." Mark Dantonio
Um...I've been to UCLA, and it's basically a stone's throw from downtown LA. By the way, the girls there are beautiful...many of Asian descent.
Huh? I've spent an entire month at UCLA, and it definitely had a "city" feel. It's a short drive from most of the big tourist attractions and downtown LA. It's also a self-contained campus (like MSU) and absolutely gorgeous. I will say that it's a bitch walking through that campus because it has so many hills. Oh yeah, and the chicks are hot.
That being said, he should come to MSU if he wants to play for a big-time team that has a chance to win championships. UCLA just won't be that type of team within the next 4-5 years.
So, literally...like 16 miles?
