I still don't think Gholston "gets it" yet and would have benefited a ton from another year. Then again he might have never reached his full potential even if he had stayed.
If this is true, i find it weird that the one guy we assumed was a total lock to leave early is the one who hasn't yet.
EDIT: Oh dang, there's the thread. Nvm.

Hondo says it , it is 99% right.
He does have contacts in the admin
Staying another year doesn't guarantee more money. He'll be making at least $300k next year. He's got a family to support so it's a good decision. Now it's next man up.
Class of 2010
I'm not worried too much about Gholston being gone. Calhoun has looked good whenever he was on the field.
Does that mean we have three more schollies for this cycle or next?
Sims is rated one of the top 3 TEs in the draft. Coming back would have been incredibly stupid unless his goal isn't to play in the NFL.
Remember when he signed here? People thought he wouldn't stay 4 years. Well, he didn't.
As much as it pains me, Fletch is right (in this thread).

Best wishes, can't remember a more demonstrative player, opponents seemed to take advantage of his over pursuit at times.
No, No..lets have some people react like they know everything about the situation and what is best for the young man. NEWS FLASH: they do not make all of their decision to appease Spartan fans.
You are aware that his "contacts" have in the past fed him incorrect information on purpose right? They use him as an example. Hondo is so far down the totem pole, hell he is probably lower than you and that says a lot.
35,600 posts and counting since 09-09-2002. tRCMB Dead Pool Commissioner.
Come on down Alec James!
gotta feed his kid
So what is the 1% he got wrong, that Izzo was going to coach football? Oh wait, the athletic department fed him that fake info to see if he would run with it as it was told to him in confidence as a test...And he failed miserably
Can't we start an RCMB fund to buy rubber's for these guys so they don't have kids while in school??
Let's get it done boys
I'll wait for Tim Staudt to confirm....which should happen sometime shortly after draft day.
Gholston stock will rise immensely just because his physical tools.
See poe from last year who was a first rounder who never produced much in college but was drafted off physical abilities. NFL likes to draft on potential a lot of times, something will still has a lot of.
I think we need to recruit hotter co-eds!
@showtimezo9: Seein some good and bad tweets about our team this mornin. Idk wats wit the bad ones though dang ppl need to have confidents thats crazy
From Isiah Lewis.
I think we need fewer "journalists" in large pink shirts.
this is the best Ive got.
Tim Staudt @timstaudt10
Every time I take another bite of lunch here in Miami another spartan declares for the draft. Who's left at dinner?
If you laugh, you think, and you cry, that's a full day. That's a heck of a day.
