Thursday night bump. 2 days away.
"If you're worried about Wolverine fans, just move to Pasadena. You'll never have to deal with 'em."
Tomorrow night we will be playing in the biggest home game so far this year as we face off against the #11 ranked Ohio State Buckeyes.
Last year during the Michigan game at the Breslin, Verne Lundquist said during the CBS broadcast that it was the loudest basketball game he has ever been at. Our remaining seven home games will likely all be against ranked teams, and if there has ever been a time to show how dominant this section can be, the time is now. Furthermore, Jason King of ESPN recently ranked the Breslin center at no. 6 in his "best home courts of college basketball". This is a testament to how strong we are as a section, but also shows that there is always room to improve. The IZZONE is second to none and we are going to redefine "loud" starting this Saturday.
As a reminder, the remainder of the season will be very highly attended games. The lower bowl often fills up well before tip, and while this is another sign of a great section, it is highly encouraged that you come early. Remember that having lower bowl priority does not guarantee you a lower bowl seat, it merely gives you the opportunity to obtain one.
Remember that wearing your IZZONE shirt to all home games is highly encouraged. Becoming a sea of white makes us look more unified as a section and also helps further intimidate our opponents.

Looking at you Flannel Fun Guys.
It looks like the crazy/wacko smiley is rotating his hand around his ear in the wrong direction. Don't most people rotate their hand forward and not backwards?
Sane people do the forward hand rotation. Truly disturbed individuals use the reverse as an indication of their utter madness.
That's effing crazy
If there was ever a post meant for the "Random thoughts you have that don't warrant their own thread" thread, it's this one...
It only moves side to side, your brain decides the perspective and therefore, which way it is rotating. If you look at it like it's from a left angle then it's going backwards on top, if you look at it like it's from an angle to the right then its' going forwards on top.
As per my last post explaining how it could be seen rotating both ways, whichever way you see it indicates your sanity.
I can't get my brain to see it the correct way.
Matta is from a small shit stain HS in Hoopeston Illinois...they were the "cornjerkers"..Izzone needs to get a Cornjerker chant going at him.
Let's. Go. State.
Last year we took 2 of 3 from Ohio State, which included beating them for all the marbles without Dawson, while OSU had an All-Star lineup including Craft, Buford, Sullinger and Thomas. Today, Craft and Thomas are the only guys that will scare you. If we lose this game, I will be very disappointed. We have better talent, the better coach, and home court. We need to not stink up the joint for the first 20 minutes of the game, which we have been prone to do this year. Play a full 40 minutes (I'll settle for 30-35) and we should win.

MSU currently a 2.5 point favorite. I think the line will shift as we get closer to the game and the sharps see how many kids in the Izzone are or aren't wearing white.
Okay so Payne is starting and he will be guarding Thomas. This is a high risk, high reward proposition. Either Payne can make things difficult for Thomas. Or if he can't guard Thomas, he gets a hot start and is an issue for MSU the entire game.
That goes both ways.
Thomas has to guard Payne, most likely. Payne keeps playing like he has been, Thomas could be in trouble.
Anyone. Anyplace. Anytime.
I'm surprised. I thought OSU would be a 2-3 point favorite based on rankings, last game.

Home court gets you zilly points on da spread.
Players play, tough players win.
The game being at the Breslin is why we're favored. Simple as that.
The Izzone is gonna be nuts and I'd give my left one to be at this game. Two ranked teams, our 2013 Fball commits, potential recruits for 2013 and 2014, the Motion will be looking good and I'll be bellyup away from the family drinking beer and eating wings all afternoon. Go Green!!!!!!!!!!
The worst part about this game isn't that someone has to lose its dealing with the Michigan fans trolling your board after the game. I doubt we win this game since we don't have the inside players to match Nix and Payne so if lost we lost by 12+ I wouldn't be surprise. Moreover, after the lost last year I doubt OSU wins since the players will be fired up for cold dish of revenge. Good luck Sparty and fingers crossed no injuries!
