I'd highly recommend The Corner to fans of The Wire. It's an HBO mini-series, based on a David Simon book, that aired prior to The Wire.
One of the best documentaries I've ever seen. Subject matter: Golden Gate Bridge Suicides.
It's also on Netflix.

Not seeing it on Netflix
The Messenger. It came out the same year as the Hurt Locker but I think its even better than that one
Someone told me to watch a movie on there when I was hammered this weekend and Im pretty sure the word Eternal is in the title and its about DMT which is apparently this new drug that you trip out really hard for 15 minutes and its supposed to be like the chemical that your body naturally emits when you are dying so you go into a euphoric state. Anyone know what the hell I am trying to talk about?
My favorite Netflix streaming films right now...
Headhunters is a slick and well acted Norwegian crime thriller. Stars the actor who plays Jaime Lannister on Game of Thrones.
The Snowtown Murders is an Australian film based on the true story of serial killer John Bunting.
Margin Call is a great thriller based on white-collar, financial crime. Really good cast.
Bernie is hilarious as is the Danish film Klovn. Klovn is very much like Curb Your Enthusiasm.
Rampart is a good Woody Harrelson flick about a corrupt LA cop.
If you've never seen The Conversation, Millers Crossing, Chinatown, or The Warriors, they are all brilliant and streaming.
Gomorrah is a great Italian mob movie.
Carlos is a brilliant mini-series based on the legendary terrorist, Carlos the Jackyl.
Criminal Justice and Accused are really good (and short) BBC series.
The Ambassador is a hilarious and frightening documentary about how simple it is to become a diplomat in Blood Diamond-area Africa.
Good call. I watched that several months ago and really liked it.

DMT : The Spirit Molecule.
I really liked it. Super deep and trippy
Have you seen Rampart? Same director and it also stars Woody Harrelson and Ben Foster. As I mentioned above, it's streaming on Netflix. I liked The Messenger but like Rampart more.
Didn't mention a bunch of other streaming movies I like but three of the best are Bullhead and Once Upon A Time in Anatolia and The Yellow Sea. Bullhead is a Belgian film that centers around a mafia dealing in illegal bovine hormone. It's my favorite film from 2011 and has a little bit of Fargo-esque humor in it. Once Upon A Time in Anatolia is a Turkish crime film that's long and a little slow but it's brilliantly acted and has amazing cinematography. The Yellow Sea is Korean and is Hong-jin Na's follow-up to The Chaser. Gory, suspenseful and great acting.
edit: Obviously, my taste in film doesn't really fit with the norm on this board. I dig all sorts of movies but really like Korean cinema and a lot of the Scandinavian stuff coming out lately. Wouldn't recommend Once Upon A Time...to most of you. Bullhead, though is very accesible if you don't mind subtitles. The Yellow Sea will be right up the alley of anyone who saw and dug Oldboy, The Chaser, I Saw The Devil or Mother.
I look at Twitch daily to get most of my film news. Great site for those who dig films that are a little off the beaten path...

Watched the gray today. Good movie
I think there's some early Kubrick on there.
- Killer's Kiss
- The Killing
Both are very good heist/noir thrillers.
Draymond Green, Magic Johnson, and Oscar Robertson are the only players to have two triple-doubles in the NCAA Tournament.
Archer, The West Wing, The League, Workaholics, Home Movies
At least that's what I'm watching.
Goon with Sean William Scott was really funny
What I would suggest: white collar and psych, love the new USA network TV shows. Always sunny in Philadelphia, HI-LARIOUS! Luther- pretty awesome BBC show about a black cop in London. The league, workaholics, archer- dumb yet funny.
Agree, without a doubt the funniest show I've ever seen. What season are they up to on Netflix? On Hulu they only have up to season 7.
Not sure if this is on Netflix, but on Hulu there's a great British cop show called Line of Fire. Not quite as gritty as The Wire, but definitely the next best thing
Liev Schreiber pulled off the role of hockey goon as well as anyone could

Yeah good call there. Rampart is good and Woody is so damn underrated.
Underbelly. It's an Australian TV series. It's based on real life gang activity in Melbourne and Sydney.
Todd and The Book of Pure Evil

Bump. Anyone watch anything good lately?
Luther is a great crime drama from the BBC with Idris Elba as the main detective. Each episode is an hour long and there are only 10 episodes from the first 2 seasons combined, so it would be easy to watch over the course of a few days. The 3rd season starts tomorrow, actually, but you'd obviously have to pirate it.
I could use some good comedy suggestions. There are so many unknown ones out there, that are either great, or just terrible. I hate it when I waste my time on the terrible ones.
I highly recommend the following. All are great dramas, and have received critical acclaim. You can stream them for free at http://www.tvmuse.eu/
1. "The Fall" starring Gillian Anderson It's been renewed for a second season. http://www.pajiba.com/tv_reviews/ask-not-what-you-should-binge-watch-while-youre-waiting-for-broadchurch-or-breaking-bad-its-the-fall.php
2. "Orphan Black" http://www.pajiba.com/case_study_in_hotness/the-clone-youve-been-looking-for-why-youre-missing-out-on-the-greatest-scifi-series-since-battlestar-galactica.php
3. "Broadchurch" - EXCELLENT mini-series, very well acted, completely devastating.
4. "Rectify" - I consider it one of the best TV shows EVER. Renewed for a second season. Season 1 is only six episodes.

TV show called Terriers. Got dropped after 1 season, but I actually wish it kept going.
