surprised to see my Bucks lose on the road. Was it ever in doubt or was the 3 point game misleading?
I'm not sure about my Bucks, they are far to reliant on the outside shot having no consistent inside offense. Any team the slows us down and makes us run a half court offense will give us trouble.
Yesterday they were far too reliant on Thomas. He was the Bucks. Without him it would have been a 20 point game.

Yeah, that's pretty much been the season. A lot of "hoping" that Thomas is on and when he is there is a lot of standing around watching him. The others on the team don't make the best choices, Smith will fire up 3's etc.. There best offense is when Scott or Craft penetrate and kick it but we don't have a Big man that can finish.
They play good hard defense, so that will get them through some games but the half court offense really has to make some improvements.
Maybe have the best group of athletes in the BIG, but if teams aren't running up and down the court with us the athleticism isn't helping.
No, it wasn't misleading. It was a pretty tight game throughout. The first half was a game of runs. MSU got out to a 10-0 lead but OSU stormed back and went on like a 13-0 run. MSU closed out the half on a 6-0 run for a 4 point lead at halftime.
I felt like MSU was in control for much of the second half but could never really pull away because Thomas kept hitting big shots. It went pretty much as expected...a physical game coming down to the last couple minutes with the home team pulling it out. We hit our free throws in this game (12/14) which was probably the difference.

Yeah Matta has in the past been able to put up to four 3-point threats on the floor at once, but he always seemed to have a low post player who demanded a lot of attention...(Dials, Oden,Sullenger). They had zero inside threats yesterday, except posting up Thomas when we tried to guard him with a guard.
Did they reduce Thad's salary cap with Urban Liar on board?

It is ALWAYS a great day to be a Spartan!!!!
Ohio State could be really good if their offense had any semblance of balance. It's Thomas plus four guys who don't really know what's going on.

Outcome was certainly in doubt till the end, but score was still misleading. Your Bucks (thanks mostly to Thomas having the hottest 3 point shooting game of his collegiate career) were draining 3's at a scary rate, while MSU could barely buy a 3. Aside from that I felt that MSU was clearly the better team on their home floor yesterday. I wish they would reduce the impact of 3 point shooting in college bb by moving the line back. Despite the fact that three point shooting has favored MSU this season thus far in B1G play, I think that is mostly a product of playing Iowa, PSU and Nebraska, 3 of the 4 worst 3 point shooting teams in the conference, so early in the conference season.
Your squad better find a second option or you're not going to like what's ahead. Craft was only kind of dirty. He needs to flip the switch into full dirt-mode.
It was a good game and I'm glad you beat UM but there are some major concerns for OSU.

What game did our mascot play in?
Haters gonna hate!
IU is definitely the most athletic team in the B1G
