Good luck to all you guys. I'm no economist but being 50 I can tell you I've seen this roller coaster take families up and down through recessions stagflations war and tragic events. I grew up fairly poor for about a three year stretch and my degreed mother worked at an A&W when I was in grade school. I have witnessed bounce backs in my life more than once. I assume it will happen again. Hang in there.
Bitch please, I make that in 10 months.

Did u cost the firm money again?
Hey now, they've only fired me 7 times this week, I'm getting better!
I am amazed at the low Michigan salaries being reported here. What are the larger Detroit firms (MIller, Butzel, etc.) paying first year associates? Anyone know?
I realize that the east coast is different; but here in Philly, the lowest salary I've heard for a new associate is $45K. The bigger firms ( 75 or more) are paying $110K to a high of $145K ( Pepper, Ballard, etc).Of course, no one is hiring like they did 5 years ago.
