That sucks, but you did the right thing. God bless.
Sorry bro. Dogs are awesome. They will never let you down.

Sorry to hear man, Izzo looks like a great dog! Give it a couple months and go out and find another golden to take care of, thats what I did when I put my golden down a few years ago. They are to good of dogs to not continue to have in your life.
Sorry to hear. That sucks.

It is ALWAYS a great day to be a Spartan!!!!
RIP to da Izzodawg......only one thing to do: go get Izzodawg2....seriously
I'm very sorry to hear that. My 12-year-old dog died just over a month ago and I was a complete wreck for a few days. It's a terrible, terrible thing to experience and I'm sorry that you have to go through it now.
Thanks a lot everyone. I know this sounds real, real dumb but even though I don't know any of you it makes me feel better to read your posts.
You making a prediction with the next dog?
Few, Stevens, fife, Gregory??
So sorry...what a beautiful dog...
Should we hug it out?
Sorry to hear about your loss. I really never know what to say in threads like this, but I've lost a couple of dogs in the past and its one of the harder things to deal with.
Best of luck and my condolences.
God bless dogs.
Lost my Golden (Sunny) in Oct. I think I know how you feel. You have my sympathy.
Sorry to hear OP. Had to put my childhood dog down last year and it was definitely one of the more miserable things I've had to do, but it was the right decision.
Hang in there and find another dog to care for when you're ready.
So sorry for your loss.
He looked like he was one cool pooch.
gHost would suggest you guys should fuck.
There's absolutely nothing dumb about it--dogs are amazing and it sucks to lose them. Sending warm thoughts your way!

Before you ask, yes, I am a girl.
Sorry for your loss OP. I lost my first dog over a year ago and I still think about him. I had him since I was 9 and he was smart as a whip. One of my fondest memories of him was his first summer. I had gotten him for Christmas and taught him how to fetch. So we were outside playing and he stopped to watch some grasshoppers jump back and forth. He was looking very intrigued, then out of nowhere he snatches one out of mid jump and eats it. It was awesome/hilarious to witness. I'll never forget him. He was my best buddy. But you'll always have those memories and nobody can take those from you.

This is a Pallas’s cat. Their round pupils give them an odd human quality. They disturb me...deeply.
I lost my golden 7 years ago and it still hurts. There's nothing like that loyalty.
Looks like a sweetheart. Hang in there, OP, and RIP pup.
Also, fuck cats. No matter what anyone tells me, cats will never compare to dogs. Cats suck. Sometimes I think I like dogs more than people too.
