Although I'm not going to be able to do what I want to do.
Perfect day. Wake up, get laid, play 18 holes, come home watch the US Open, get laid, grill steaks on the grill, watch NBA finals, while sipping on beer all day.
What is really going to happen. Wife is working tonight, will come home around 10:30, take me to church, and then lunch. Come home, she'll sleep until 6 or 7, I'll still cook the steaks, and watch the NBA finals. We'll see about the beer part.
How many fathers just want a guys day out?

December 3, 2011 - Forever haunted by what I witnessed...
A few of my buddies and I did a Fathers Day weekend golf trip for about 5 straight years. We went up to Boyne City on Thursday night. Played Friday and Saturday and head home Sunday. ( hungover and ready for the US Open and a nap).
Does this count?
A man's gotta eat!
Yup. That works. I really shouldn't complain, I golf every weekend from Nov - May.
I'll trade you. I believe I'm passing a kidney stone again
Are we neighbors? He was just bitching to me that he passed another kidney stone. Although I doubt you are a peruvian with chinese ancestors living in Miami.
Nope that's not me
I'm running a 5k with my wife and daughter at some ungodly hour and then flying from South Florida to Northern Michigan to work for two weeks. Pretty lame. I'm wondering if every flight the pilot, GAs and FAs will make a huge deal about Father's Day like they did when I flew on Mothers Day. I think we all know the answer to that already.
it's completely racist that they don't have any father's day buffets or brunches. what a bunch of bull shit.
Happy Father's Day. Up at 5:30 his morning to get an 8 lb pork shoulder on the grill. Hopefully ready by dinner time. Played 18 yesterday. Today will be spent mostly playing with the kids in the yard. Is it too early for a Bourbon and cigar?

Boy bourbon and cigar sounds like a great idea. First Fathers day as a grandpa.
Happy Fathers Day to all the dads out there.

There is a place and it's called Golden Corrall.....where it's Father's Day 364 days (or 365 depending on state) a year.

My day is complete, just got my Happy Father's Day e-mail from athletic dept.
Brewing beer today but already catching hell about.
Serious question - do any dad's out there really give 2 shits about Father's Day? I don't....and I feel the need to cram another halmark holiday in is not needed. July 4th is right around the corner so no need to get one in before that time.
No mention of spending time with kids in either scenario!
doing what Fathers do (on Father's Day) - put family above personal wants.
In this case - doing the direct opposite of what I wanted to do with my day:
go to Long Island on a Sunday (Traffic is always a bitch on the way back home and it will be raining)
spending it in a restaurant instead of maybe grilling and golfing.
the kicker - to hang out with my wife's family which includes my Mother-in-Law. Oh Joy!
Happy Father's Day, Distinguished Men of Integrity. Have a beer and throw one on the grill for me.
Wife quit her job 12 years ago, won't go back. Days like today I'm treated well because of that. Also on the birthday. I need to work on the other 363 days.
My first one today. Already got my "present" this am and took a nap. Last night had a babysitter and saw Man of Steel and then out to dinner. It's been a great weekend. Hope all of you dads have a nice well deserved day.
Your wife is really understanding to let you have a babysitter.
Egotism is the anesthetic that dulls the pain of stupidity. - Frank Leahy.-- If you're going to be stupid, be smart about it. - Mike Milbury
Wife at work till 11:00. Kids are all grown and gone - none have called or texted yet, but they usually do by the end of the day. So it's just me and the TV to watch the Open. And frozen dinners. Life isn't too bad.
Honestly, an entire day to yourself to do what you want sounds amazing. I'm pretty sure my Dad would kill for that today. All the kids are out of the house and it's just he and my mom at their condo for the weekend and if she disappeared for the afternoon, he'd probably be in heaven (and asleep on the couch watching the U.S. Open).
And if the good Lord’s willin’,
I’m a keep on chillin’,
refillin’ and flyin’ high
racist? probably not. Sexist maybe, but definitely not racist
