Recruiting analyst Tom Lemming of Prep Football Report said Drake Harris of Grand Rapids Christian is the No. 1 receiver in the class of 2014 s top 10 overall.
This is great news. Since he is a basketball recruit, is he able to sign during the early signing period?
He's a football recruit who will walk on the bball team. I don't think he is able to sign early, but I'll leave that to the experts to clarify.
Is signing day here yet
"If you're worried about Wolverine fans, just move to Pasadena. You'll never have to deal with 'em."
Watching the state championship game it already looks like he can catch better than any of our current receivers
From what i've heard, he is a football recruit on a football scholarship who will walk-on to play bball.
Just over a year left of rumors that Drake is going to flip since he is a 2014 recruit.....
This thread needs more upvotes.
I'm so Thick right now they could call me Alan Thicke.
...Lemming said. "Hopefully he'll stick with Michigan State. I get tired of those guys who commit early changing their mind."
And a high 3 star, as an MSU commit.
NCAA rules require that he's a football recruit. Prevents schools from adding more fball scholarship players by signing them to other sports.
What position does he play in basketball ?
The will to succeed is important, but what's more important is the will to prepare.
#1 in the state? Is that really that impressive? How does that line up nationally? Either way its always good to beat out scum on in state recruits
I believe he means #1 in the country.
#1 in the nation. Between this and the Byrd thread, I'm thinking you only read the titles.
Not #1 in the state, #1 Receiver in the COUNTRY.
Kid can't even read!
There were some spectacularly bad track teams for schools with really, really good football teams in the past. It needed to happen.
Can the school hire one pf his parents for a job to help insure he doesn't flip?
the title even says receiver... [uhh]

Yeah, I'm sure Lemming would be heart broken if Drake switched to Notre Dame.
So who has watched this kid play? Any comparisons?
2013 is HUGE for MSU football: specifically our offense. We simply have to show we're capable of opening it up and scoring points. SEC and PAC 12 schools are already sniffing around Drake HARD as it is. I think we can show enough progress to hold them off and win 8-9 games in the process. I would hope so with that soft schedule.
