Appling was four wasn't he?
Dont think so. He was a burger boy, arent they all 5's.
Yes. He was definitely a 4-star kid
So, have there ever been even three starters who were.
I could see Izzo pulling in one or two of the five star kids in the next class. He is recruiting guys pretty hard in Chicago, Indiana, and Michigan and there seems to be a lot of talent close in the 2013 and 2014 classes
Closest might have been 2000-2001 with Randolph, Taylor, and J-Rich...but Randolph only started 8 games.
Probably right. Brown and Davis were both 5 stars... But I think Ager was a 3 or 4.
Shannon Brown, Paul Davis, Marquise Gray
Per Rivals rankings.
Also, I think Torbert was also, a 5-star and he started with Brown and Davis as well.
Edit: Scout had Summers as a 5-star which would have made Summers, Roe, Payne on, although I'm not sure they all started a game together.

Just for reference with 5 stars
2001: Calvin Torbet?
Tolberg was the #1 player in the country by some.
Yes. in 2001 Kelvin Torbert was a 5-star and by some services he was ranked the #1 player in the country.
I bought some batteries, but they weren't included... so I had to buy them again. What do batteries run on?
That is true. Kalving Torburg was a 5 star

Klavert Tourvin had a high ceiling.
(this never gets old, honestly, i'm laughing my ass off right now)
Some may disagree, but for me the Klevon Troberd joke never gets old.

Unfortunately, when he was jumping up to that ceiling, he would only try to reach for it when he was all ready on his way down...
Maybe then he could have reached that high ceiling...
That joke was old 10 years ago. It's like herpes. It'll never go away.
Higher than Keifer Torben?
For the love of Trevor...™
Andy went to pieces?
Howie came unglued?
Buddy was a rock?
For reference, here is the list of RSCI top 100 players in the Izzo era.
(The Izzo era and the RSCI era are pretty much perfectly lined up)
Draymond Green, Magic Johnson, and Oscar Robertson are the only players to have two triple-doubles in the NCAA Tournament.
Quick Q: who is Klondike Torbush?
Capt.Gingersnap, don't be angry with me.
It's funny seeing Draymond and Chris Hill all the way at the bottom shows what little value the star systems have. It's crazy how well Draymond has worked out.
