But the Wolverwienie fans brought it strong today. They had a good number more of fans there today and the first game got way louder then any point in our game today. I guess when you are going for your first Sweet 16 berth since 94 it is a special moment.
Thanks for the confession...who cares?
First of all I was there and this isn't true. Second, who cares?
I knew there would be a few on here that would get incredibly butthurt about this.
Why is this even being discussed after we make the sweet 16? Seriously? Why put a spotlight on shit that does not matter and is not even true?

More fans than MSU? From someone there, no.
"If you're worried about Wolverine fans, just move to Pasadena. You'll never have to deal with 'em."
I think my favorite moment of the day was a looking over the shoulder of the guy in front of me (wearing Michigan gear head to toe) to see him looking at tRCMB on his phone during our game, I asked what his user name was on here, and he started to reply and then stopped once he saw me. I asked if he was obsessed, he said it was "Good reading".
This. Payne's block and J sequence got the crowd pretty damn loud.
It is absolutly true. The urine colored shirts were everywhere and that place was rocking loud when um were hitting those threes and pushing thier lead well into double digits. The second game while it got kind of loud at times was much more laid back. They even had a small section of maize ragers. Look I know some on here thinks MSU players, coaches and fans can never do anything wrong. I also realize stating something even remotly concieved as being critical of MSU warrants a banning but it is still the truth.
Dude, you just speak the truth. Keep bringing it strong, man.
I was there and I honestly thought the loudest the place was all day was when Harris hit his 4th three pointer. I think the crowd was probably 50% UM, 40% MSU and 10% other
Then again maybe it was just the yellow shirts standing out.

I would agree with this, the Harris 3 and the Payne block and jumper got the place rocking.
Michigan fans had a few more little spurts of getting loud during the game since they aren't used to winning, they were excited, give them a break.
But other then the small section of yellow in the upper deck it was very spaced out.
I agree. I just think um had more 20 something male fans who cause more of a ruckus. The groupd of um fans sitting in front of me all snuck in pints of whiskey and gummie worms they soaked in vodka for four days.
MSU fans seemed older, with kids and hot girls. Those groups usually don't make alot of noise at sporting events.
"MSU made a sweet 16 by blowing out a 30-4 team? Meh.
Those fucking Michigan fans pissed me off by attending their own game and cheering and shit! Fuck that! I KEEPS IT REAL! ! Lets TALK ABOUT IT!"
You want me to be mad but I don't give a shit. Ill never click on this dumb ass thread again to prove my point.
I have to disagree as well, and it has nothing to do with being an overly-sensitive MSU fan. The Michigan fans did a nice job. But I think the yellow in the crowd just stands out more than green. Red does the same thing.
I will say this was the most unique MSU-Michigan event I've attended. Both fan bases out in full force, just kind of trying to ignore each other. Very weird.
"I guess when you are going for your first Sweet 16 berth since 94 it is a special moment."
That's what I was thinking.
Maybe MSU fans like to act like a Sweet 16 berth is expected, not a gift. That's the difference. Act like you've been there before. Oh, that's right... MSU has.
"Spartan women were known for their natural beauty... They were notorious for their razor-sharp wit and outspoken natures."
Yeah, I just watched it via DVR (gone earlier today) and M J is right....what cracked me up were the scummers rooting for MSU: I saw it with my own two eyes so don't deny it boys. That was funny...I have to know: did any MSU fans root for SCum?
There were quite a few Michigan fans that stood up and clapped for MSU when we hit some threes and Payne's big plays. I was very surprised to see that.
Seemed like the crowd was about half and half. The piss color stood out more then our, Greem, White, and/or Gray Shirts. I was at the games and seemed like UM got loud at times(during their run to start the 2nd and at the end) Our crowd was loud more often (during actual plays).
I thought the crowds actually got along nicely, I was sitting next to a UM fan and his kid, he was cool and was rooting for us, however that could be because I was openly cheering for anyone during the UM game, just watching BBall. However I did notice a few of urine colored shirts turning light blue between games, and UM fans openly cheering for Memphis, then leaving once we got a nice lead. That Memphis section seemed a lot larger then the VCU section as well.
Of course I am biased on the subject, but it seemed like a good crowd from where I sat and from walking around.
If anyone saw a MSU fan rooting for Michigan, I apologize. That was on accident, as I was hammered. Sorry again.
Well if you must know, during the first game I had some bonless wings from buffalo wild wings, I also had a braided pretzel with cheese, and right before it was over with I went and got a kielbasa.
The food at the Palace wasn't all that bad!

I didn't openly root against them, that is the best I could do.
I did see wearing a MSU shirt underneath a UM shirt decide to take his shirt off right in the concourse between games and put the MSU shirt on top of the UM shirt for our game. Thought that was kinda funny, I guess he really is a fan of both schools.
Well, tRCMB IS pretty good reading. So he's right about that.
