Dude he broke Cam Newton's yardage record. Te'o had a great year and its an outstanding story but Manziel deserved it based on performance
Of course you do.
The right guy won.

Did you see him in any Top 5 polls before the Alabama game? If you did, please post them in this thread.
Glad he didn't ND fans are insufferable already.
Call; it karma. Paul Horning had no business winning the trophy in 1956 being the star of a 2-8 team that only beat IU and UNC in South Bend.
He's on pace to be a very rich young man after next year.

Guess that depends what source you go by.

Pam Ward re-surfaces.
Not on Scout, Rivals or ESPN. Not sure about here though
Te'o only beat Manziel by 3 votes in the Midwest, 315 to 312.
Maxwell for heisman in 2013.
Dude was a freshman. It's going to take a little while before anyone takes notice to what he's doing.
Also, those "experts" weren't going to predict something that seemed impossible (a freshman winning) 6 games into the year.
I just looked him up on 247
Agreed, ND fans were the only reason I hoped Te'o would lose.
Not sure why everyone was so surprised by that
SEC teams usually cheer hard for each other(The exceptions being Auburn and Alabama). In the midwest, there's so many politics regarding ND and the B1G, that tally should be expected
I hope Bullough can rock it out next year and get to New York.
Bring Nardawg, so he can be in the sound room calling out things for Max to say when being interviewed. Then, when the trophy is about to be announced, come down to the stage and get him pumped up.

Was Teo even close to the top of the stat rankings in any defensive categories? No? Then people can STFU.
The only reason Teo was invited is because he plays for ND. Manziel won on his own merit. Plenty of other defensive players have had way better stats than Teo and weren't even considered.
Interceptions but I think its safe to say that if he didn't have a gold helmet he would be nowhere near NYC right now
The only two he was one of the best in, were tackles and takeaways.
The rest of them, he is on average around 110th in America. Bullough is better than him in most of those stats, as well.

He was T-2 in INTs. I don't think he should've won but he did have 7 interceptions this year which was very impressive. Other than that he had a very pedestrian year. I think he was like T-59 in total tackles.
Did Teo playing for ND help? Absolutely, but to say it's the only reason is laughable.
Do you think Manziel wins it if he doesn't play in the SEC? The way the voting broke down in the "South" region indicates otherwise. I could say that's the only reason he won it, but that would also be an absurd claim
He was changed to a 5* as soon as they beat Bama, but to insure nothing fishy was going on they always said he was a 5*.

Texas A&M looks to have a great future. Manzel is a lot like Tebow, just not NFL type of player but amazing college player. I think he stays around for the next three years, and with 10 wins this year and some big time recruits coming in I think they can win a national title in the next 3 years.
Michigan State University is the university of Michigan
They mentioned that multiple film studies showed that he missed the fewest tackles(a number that was thrown around was 2 missed tackles). It's not his fault the ND DL stopped the run so well or offenses tried to keep the ball away from him.
Bull shit. It is absolutely the only reason he was invited. It was hyped from the beginning of the season. He had a very good year and they went undefeated.
Okay maybe another reason is that it was a very weak year for heisman candidates.
