Are usually modeled after college fight songs. For instance, Dow High in midland has a fight song to the tune of OSU's "across the field."
So who uses MSU's?

And Mobile just went to shit:
Every other school uses "On Wisconsin," because a 5 year old could play it. I only remember hearing "Victory for MSU" once in like 10 years of attending HS football games.

Doesn't rockford use msu? Brighton high school also uses across the field from osu
To die in ann arbor is redundant
Rockford and Haslett use the MSU fight song
"Those fans are in for a world of hurt...they've never gone up against a premium message board fan base like ours."-Vim
Victory for R-H-S!
Waterford Our Lady of the Lakes uses MSU.
"Their specialty is learning and the lakers play good ball."
Eaton Rapids uses MSU's fight song. I think East Lansing does as well?
Waverly uses Navy's "Anchors Aweigh" which I think is another popular fight song.
My alma mater (Lansing Catholic) uses Kansas State's fight song.
FHC Grad - when the school was formed, we got Duffy hand-me-downs. In honor of that, our fight song is MSU's, colors are green and white, and the ranger is a bastardized gruff sparty.
God, I just used possessive for high school.
My high school (Sturgis High School) had one written for it. We didn't copy anyone's.
One of the three Plymouth schools uses our fightsong, but one of them also uses SCum fightsong.
Lanse Creuse North (my high school's rival) has MSU's fight song.
Livonia Stevenson uses some of it (they're Spartans), but they fused it with something else. My high school, Novi, has an original one, but I think it's based on Central's.
Re: "On Wisconsin"...I hate that song. I think Hazel Park uses it, and I'm pretty sure my dad's high school used it, too, so somehow that song made its way out to BFE Upstate New York (my high school is bigger than the whole town).
"This was a great Spartan day." --Walter Adams
Before you ask, yes, I am a girl.
Wife and I just moved into the FHC area. We're close enough that we can hear the band playing fight song on game nights. Loudly. Like, inside my house loud. Completely taken by surprise and didn't realize wtf was going on at first. Finally put it together that FHC fight song is MSU fight song.
Wife turns to me and says, "Can you imagine if it were 'Hail to the Victors' and we moved here not knowing we'd have to hear that constantly? We'd have to burn the house down, take the insurance money, and gtfo."
That's when I knew I married the right one.
After years of officiating across the state, I hear On Wisconsin more than anything
Yeah it is kinda funny when you hear the fights songs and in your head you are saying the words to the college fight songs. OSUs is played a lot as well.
Start High School Spartans , Toledo, OH
You most certainly did marry the right one.
