@MSUAD: Looking forward to @delvonroe10 being part of Sunday on-court tribute along with current seniors on the team.
@MSUAD: The NCAA staff provided great compassion in allowing Delvon to participate in a way that Coach Izzo, Delvon and I desired.
To what extent? what can he do?
Not sure that means he's cleared to play.
Not during competition though.
deosant even say if he can suit up
Not sure, but if Hollis and Izzo are happy with it, it works for me.
We are not the same, I am a Spartan
Looks like he can't play during competition...
Mark Hollis @MSUAD MSU did not submit a reinstatement request that could have possibly allowed Delvon to step onto the court during competition.
i hope he can atleast suit up!
So basically they're going to allow him to wear the jersey.
Oh well, up until a few hours ago none of us imagined him playing on Sunday anyways. Not to mention he's probably not in basketball shape anymore!
Having him warm up with the team, get announced, and be on the bench + huddles will still make an awesome atmosphere.

The focus of Delvon and the entire MSU community is on a B1G title. We love the support. Distractions must be placed on the shelf.
Hollis has several Tweets. He said they didn't file a request that would allow Delvon to play, but they did get clearance to let him participate in some way. He said that they wanted to remove any distractions, and that Delvon agrees that the focus should be on winning the B1G.
Hopefully that means he can dress and sit on the bench. I'm kind of hoping he can participate in warm ups, but that may be pushing it.
Whatever it is they better show it on TV. Eff waiting for the All Access show.
Good for him. I couldn't imagine having to leave a sport I love and see my comrades for 3-4 years essentially "graduate" without me.
"The Journey" episode may be the best yet...

Now I can go back to ignoring all Tweets that aren't from @ILikeGirlsDaily.
If he can dress and just kiss the S durring a time out towards the end of the game then great. Yet another example of how awesome MSU is...sincerely proud this will happen.
OSU is not going to have a pleasant experience visiting Breslin on Sunday.
He will be in uniform on the bench, but Izzo won't put him in. It was a joint call by Izzo and Delvon. He hasn't even practiced or picked up a basketball for a consistent period of time in months. Izzo won't put him out there out of respect for him.
I imagine Izzo will call a full timeout in the last minute, winning or losing, and let Delvon go out and kiss the center court logo.
@MSUAD: Delvon will be on the bench, take part in our senior recognition, and at some point have an opportunity to kiss center court at the Bres.
I'm guessing that student athletes on a medical scholarship are prohibited from taking part in any activities of the sports program or athletic department. It was probably a measure put in place to protect the student and prevent abuse by the sports program.
Not sure...just a guess.
Awesome, awesome news. Allow me to be your first +1!
I just want to see Delvon come out before the game, kiss the center court and yell "LETS GET THIS SHIT" and run off. Crowd would go nuts
The first time MSU basketball aired in France the French surrendered to Tom Izzo just to be safe.
