All Alabama fans claim 13 NCs in football. Some claim 17. Alabama's success in football since the 1950s makes Michigan's look miniscule.
Its five o'clock somewhere.
Thank you, Denicos.
So they can claim to have a better program since 1950. We can claim to have the better program period.

France had a great run in the 1700s. Look at them now.

Listen here michigan douche I am here to state facts. You may have had a better program back when we were fighting world wars, but 4 straight years would insist that MSU has had the better program. People don't care about shit that happen way before they were born they live in the now and if you're a high school football player in the state of Michigan you pretty much have no memory of Michigan ever having a powerhouse football team, All you have is grandpa's recollection of the good ole days.
Persians are trying to make a come back.
I'm not worried. We will keep getting top 5/10 recruiting classes, and our teams will be something special. Mattison has already turned our defense around from the RR years.
Did you live in a bomb shelter from the 70s-2007?
Sorry but michigan has 3 national championships that were awarded in the same decade that the games were played, the rest are fictional. In the meantime, Michigan State has 6 real National Championships.
Great job in trying to keep the myth alive though.

So what about the Hollis tweet?
So we can just get rid of championships now? We could also claim 1971 as a national championship if we go by your standard of awarding national championships.
Clearly you are an idiot. Where did I establish a "standard of awarding national championships"?
Please let me know which poll recognized um as champions in 1971. I'll stand by and wait.
That's gold, Jerry, gold!
+1 for the comedic interlude.

nvm it was 1973 that we would be champions by MSU standards
So about 15 years before you were born, Michigan Man?
So would you say Bo Schembechler best personifies the "Michigan Program" ? Lets see...Bo never won a national title...and Bo had a 2-8 Rose Bowl record.....hmmmm.
and 1964 and 1985 now that I look at it.
Yost was our best coach, but Bo would be considered the top coach at any other program in the big ten besides OSU, PSU, and Nebraska.
Clearly you are slow. There is a single "standard" for determining who has a claim to a National Championship, a poll that recognizes a team as the National Champions in the same year the games were played (or for that matter the same decade). That has happened at Michigan State 6 times, while only 3 times at um.
As for the 1973 um team, Alabama and Notre Dame shared the National Championship. I think people like you are pretty familiar with both those teams.... Right?
That was the year that umAA didn't even go to a bowl game. tOSU won the Big Ten and went to Pasadena.
