I did a small search and didn't see it, but even if it IS a re-post it's worth it. My god they just suck BALLS:
You know how ESPN analysts claim they only talk about Tebow because fans can't get enough of him?
Yeah, this thread proves that.
Awful Announcing has a good piece on ESPN as well
Go Bears, Blackhawks, White Sox, and Pioneers.
Just because I don't care doesn't mean I don't understand
Holy shit where was I when Liam Neeson was on SportsCenter? That is the funniest shit I have ever seen in my life.
Liam Neeson dragged himself onto SportsCenter yesterday to pimp Taken 2 and wow. Has there ever been a guest on SportsCenter who was so unprepared to be a guest on SportsCenter? Neeson didna swear word tumbling out.
Other than the actual games, there's absolutely no reason to watch ESPN anymore.
SportsCenter does little but push whatever their agenda or upcoming show is. You can get the news faster online without the bullshit.
Anyone. Anyplace. Anytime.
anyone see Jay Glazer on twitter yesterday (maybe Tuesday)?
"hey ESPN, my last name is not spelled 'S-O-U-R-C-E-S' unless my mother had it wrong all these years"

Seriously, basically at anytime you go to espn.com half the headlines start with 'Sources:'
Maybe deadspin can put out a story on the blue wall free press they suck as much weener as ESPN
Absolutely. I don't have cable/dish right now. When I did, I would watch BTN for MSU/B1G highlights, MLB Network for baseball news and highlights, and get everything else online. I use Yahoo instead of ESPN for news on the interwebz. Fuck ESPN.
This has been the case since 1996.

I only watch ESPN when there are live sports during the day (golf, 24 hour college hoops marathon, etc). I hate sportscenter and hate every show they have.
I once went from the Final Four until the start of college football without ever turning my TV to ESPN.
I have mixed emotions regarding ESPN. I am in the minority who likes Dickie V. I LOVE Bob Knight as an announcer. I like a lot of thier "on air" game personalities, but I freaking despise their reporting. So I look at it from the perspective of anything they can control, I despise. So a lot of these articles, simply reinforce my thoughts about ESPN.
Further illustrating the point is the amount of time Mike and Mike spent on Tebow this morning... NOBODY CARES!!!!!!
You act like this is big news. There's a reason I don't watch ESPN except for the sports, and use SI.com for the majority of my internet sports.
This makes me hate society.
It's annoying to me that a Fox Sports, a Turner, an NBC Sports, a CBS, a Yahoo or whomever can't capitalize on ESPN's journalistic failure.
Sure some of them have great journalists (CBS, Yahoo, SI) but that is mainly online and they have nothing that remotely compares to a daily SportsCenter presence. Wish somebody could figure out how to make a great studio show like SportsCenter was 10-15 years ago.

I lost interest after the third paragraph... By the way, Skip Bayliss is gay and I think he's completely infatuated with Tim Tebow.

I tuned into Sportscenter a few mornings ago for the first time in months. Within three minutes, I flicked the channel over to the B1G Network's replay of women's volleyball.
ESPN-watching is for the Michigan fan, the Yankee fan, the Laker fan, etc. Games are even becoming more difficult to watch because of the announcer's hype of whichever team draws more viewers. I hope another news-focused network emerges to overtake ESPN.
ESPN is the National Enquirer for the simple-minded sports fan (sheep).

I haven't watched sports center in years
Kindred spirits, you and I.
I don't take them too seriously. I watch more during college football season and less the remiander of the year.
Yeah Cowherd was complaining about this on his show. I was
As bad as ESPN has gotten, I'm still a sucker for the 30 for 30 series. They've pretty much all been interesting and well done.
tRCMB - Visit at your own risk of being disgusted.
That is because they are done by independent directors whose jobs don't depend on hyping other ESPN shows.
TV is just shit these days. Thank god for channels like HBO that don't care about ratings.
They also have a college football X's and O's show on Saturday morning that is just fantastic. It's hosted by Mike Bellotti... I can't recall the name of it, though.
Hahaha! No... I have plenty of ting in my ting-tang, thanks.
