Good luck to him
YOUR have been banned from reading and posting on the Michigan Wolverine board.
I wonder how much cash he's going to miss out on due to being such an idiot at LSU.
It's the NFL they can overlook a lot of things. I'm assuming the combine will make or break him. Hope they keep him under lock and key. I read a story in SI that says he just refuses to leave his high school boys who formed a rap group behind. One member said they won't have to worry about anything once he makes it big. This is disaster waiting to happen if he doesn't have good counsel
$50 thou a week will buy a lot of weed.
He's a beast on the football field. Not sure whether I'd want the Lions to take a chance or not. They've taken a chance on a few guys with attitude problems (Suh and Young) who have been up and down while passing on others who look good like Janoris Jenkins.
Others say Mathieu’s inability to stay out of trouble off the field, combined with the fact that he has neither the coverage skills nor the size of an elite NFL cornerback, will push him out of the draft entirely.
Tyrann Mathieu, the LSU defensive back whose dominant play on the field made him a Heisman Trophy finalist as a sophomore in 2011, but whose off-field problems got him kicked off the team in 2012, is headed to the NFL in 2013.

playmaker, but not a great cover guy.
interesting to see where he gets picked.

I hate shit like this. I've seen the guy on the football field--he can play. He's tough as hell and a hard hitter, and he's an absolute ball hawk. He does get lost in coverage from time to time, but he also has great speed so he can recover quickly.
At the very least, he has great value as a kick/punt returner.
Yeah, I get all that. I'm just saying the dude would've been a top 10 selection and now he's clearly the farthest thing from that. And has to cost him some good money. I mean, Morris Claiborne got $16.26 mil guaranteed and Janoris Jenkins got $3.1 mil guaranteed.
He'll fall to the Broncos in the draft now that pot is legal in Colorado.
He was never a top 10 pick. He's 5'7" (he's listed at 5'9" but almost anybody who has met him in person says he's shorter than that).

Read my post right above yours bro. He's guaranteed a whopping 3.1 mil. If you don't think Jenkins lost out on more money, you're an idiot.
It's almost irrelevant - the end result will be the same: he'll go to the league, maybe stay a while, but it won't ultimately end well. If he can't even get through college how is he going to last in the league? Lets be realistic, he'll be watched very closely because of his reputation and he'll fuck up, it's almost a guarantee.

It's pathetic that we all know the end of this story already and the kid doesn't
I hope my feeling is completely wrong.
Sounds like a project for Tom Coughlin or John Harbaugh/Ray Lewis
i'm sure he'll be very happy in Cincinnati.
There's better weed in the NFL. Congrats on the upgrade.
(In seriousness I think he's a great player and hope he can keep his act straight)
Since the NFL pretty much got rid of kickoffs he's less valuable.
I am gravely disappointed. Again you have made me unleash my dogs of war.
Draft him and ditch Logan. Janoris Jenkins seems to be working out
If he falls to the 5th round or later, I hope the Lions learned their lesson from passing up on Alfonso Dennard and Janoris Jenkins.
ESPN said Kiper has him as a 4th rounder. The history with pot doesn't scare me as much as DWags story about him keeping his high school posse hanging around. If he would get rid of them, I'd have much higher hopes for the guy. His supposed lack of height, or inability to cover guys doesn't bother me. He dominated the SEC on defense, and they are littered with NFL-type players. His skill and ability are not in question here. His people and bad habits are.
Has he done anything other than just smoke weed?
Has his high school friends done something wrong?
I'm honestly curious, ignorant and too lazy/apathetic to actually try and find some article about it.

What if he sneezes on Tony Romo after the whistle? Should he be kicked out of the league? Obviously that's intent to injure. Tony Romo could catch the flu! Why didn't he cover his mouth? What a dirty player...

Not that the public knows about, I feel like it would have taken more than a few weed test for Miles to cut the best player in the country loose though. Weed is not a big deal, I'd take him 3rd or later if no more dirt can be found on him.
