Don't sell Harrison Roadhouse short either...they've stepped their game up.
You're friends sound like real winners.
Plus the best burgers in EL, and their white chicken chili is freaking amazing.
Parking is an issue, whether you want to admit it or not.
and free, on-site parking.
And you sound like a delusional douchebag...
The Roadhouse has the best burgers in EL?
Did they blow up the kitchen and start over?
Like Reno's has.
It's an issue to you and the other few bonars in this thread that wouldn't go to an amazing establishment, that EL is lucky to have open up downtown, because there isn't a free parking and blowjob service for all your needs.
How many threads has this board had about the need for more local business and restaurants in EL? We get one of the best coming to EL, owned by a MSU grad, and it's going to fail because people like you don't want to pay for parking or walk a few blocks?
Can't believe $1.30 /hr. parking would discourage anyone, student or not.
Have you been their lately? They are freaking fantastic, but they have been that good for at least the 7 or so years I've been going there.
If you're willing to walk a couple blocks, parking is free and easy. Just need to make sure you're out by 2:00 am.
Wait...you're saying it's going to fail because of a parking problem?
If you think the Roadhouse has good food, I'm not sure we can rely on you for any sort of restaurant commentary in the future. Please step away from your keyboard.
Hopcat should have bought out the Roadhouse and Pub and blown up the whole corner.
For the demographic your favorite new place is reaching yes Parking is a problem.
Does every post on this board have to be a friggin argument?
I thought the cost of parking was relevant to the discussion. I'm not agreeing or disagreeing with you.
I hope he doesn't read the RCMB. He might reconsider.
The Roadhouse has made it on location since it opened. Yeah...the buffalo burgers were unique for awhile...but, it's bar food...and bad bar food at that. But, kudos to them...they succeed without having good food.
OK. Sorry. My bad.
I was right though.
No I was agreeing with you! I thought what u said was funny as shit
Yeah, it's just me and a couple of bonars in this thread. Not thousands of permanent residents that don't go downtown. And while I'm sure Hopcat will do well, "amazing" is a touch dramatic.
Yeah...I know. I was just embellishing in case anyone wanted to rave about their hamburgers and chicken chili some more.
Yeah I've always thought there food was pretty average to mediocre
What are you smoking because I want some of it.
The Road House has hands down the worst burgers in EL, and thats below McDonalds.
