It is not going to mean squat in the end, but somehow it would make me feel a little better.
they would never apologize because the refs were following orders from the B1G to "watch msu closely" for penalties. They did want they were told and probably received nice gift baskets
Isn't it their job to watch closely for penalties?
Agree. I feel it's been this way most of the season. I also think they are instructed to allow Will and Rush to be held any given play.
I would be a hell of a lot happier if the entire officiating crew was fired and exiled to pick for scraps in metropolitan landfill.
I would prefer a public whipping of Bill Lemonnier.
I would settle for Bill Lemmonier never being scheduled to officiate an MSU game again.
I'm not going to worry about something that would never, ever happen. I do hope Bill Lemmonier gets eaten by rabid wolves though.
tRCMB - Visit at your own risk of being disgusted.
I agree with this.
If you can do a half-assed job of anything, you're a one-eyed man in a kingdom of the blind.
- Kurt Vonnegut
Delany should resign.
The worst part is that the media and everybody just glossed over it like it never happened.
Funny post +1.
It would be a waste of time to ask for an apology. I would rather see all our (State's) Big Ten games officiated by SEC crews. Our refs look like they have never officiated a game before.

This is what pisses me off. Why do we always take a backseat on this stuff?
Just bend over and take it I guess. "We just didn't make enough plays".
I don't think we should have to ask for one. It is the big Ten's responsibility to admit when the errors were so bad that they might have effected the outcome of the game. The one time I remember them doing it was when they said as much after incorrectly ruling two fumbles or something in UM's favor against Illinois 10 years or so ago.
I would expect something like "we looked at the video and determined JA's block was legal and that was not PI. The two calls obviously impacted the outcome of the game. Official X has been suspended from doing Big Ten games for the remainder of the year"
This is not going to get us a win or even an asterik, but without such an admittance then the credibility suffers. Since I'm not into this whole MSU conspiracy theory, this seems like a reasonable expectation to get such a statement from the Big ten office
Not thinking about/worried about it.
You guys are such a bunch of whiny, pussy-ass babies that it makes me sick. You think every team that feels jobbed by the refs is owed a formal fucking apology? Maybe a nice foot massage and some chocolates too? WTF?
Hi, please join us! Signed, reality.
