I have to travel up there today. I gone?
Dominating Press Conferences Since 2007
Kinda crappy, must of the big roads have both lanes cleared up for the most part. But a lot of snow still on the roads themselves.
Not too bad. I96 and I196 are clear enough for 55 mph or a little over.
It's still reaaallly cold, watch out for black ice. Sporadic lake effect blizzards too.
Please don't go and bother Drake Harris.
hoke- to alter or manipulate so as to give a deceptively or superficially improved quality or value.
I just drove back to GR from Holland on 196. When idiots weren't in the left lane slowing me down, I was averaging around 70mph.

The roads are better than our odds of landing Drake Harris.
Marriage is like flying with kids, if the flight had 500 connections, never ended, Ted Striker were your pilot and you ate the fish.
Awful. It took me 1 hr to get almost to Muskegon from Jenison - had to turn around.
Ice everywhere, mainly a white out, especially if you're around traffic creating the snow cloud.
Northwest of GR seems to be getting more of the lake effect than to the southwest. Driving to and from Holland earlier today was nothing like driving to and from Muskegon yesterday.
The further NW I went, the worse it got.... If you don't have to leave, DONT!
goodbar, your posts are always hilarious.
The problem is mainly along the lakeshore. I live in southern Newaygo County and we have about 2" of snow, but I just talked to a guy I work with who lives in Twin Lake and he said he had over 15" there as of this morning, and it was still coming down.
Put your head between your legs and kiss your ass goodbye.
Are they treating the roads at all?
Mostly with disdain.
Drive slow, leave lots of room, assume everyone else is a total idiot. And you'll be ok.
Looks like it's snowing pretty hard right now, but not very windy. ( THIS GUY works just E of downtown Holland near US 31)
Thanks for the update. I have to leave for up there in 1 or 2 hours.
Crap... I was gonna drive to my parents in Muskegon tonight. I may need to scrap that idea if its gonna take over an hour.
There's a toilet in the kitchen!
Appears to have stopped snowing. I'll continue updating this thread until mid April.
I work in Zeeland and it's been off and on....blizzard like then nothing.....Lake Effect as cool as it looks is an effing bitch. Literally 10 feet will divide sunny skies and complete white out.
It's snowing like a mofo right now and the winds are picking up and the low is roughly 0 for tonight... Should be fun driving.
You are just too much.
Roads weren't very good. Just getting home.
