MC George Castanza and I went off on thee social media world last night. Some Gems:
"Judging by the lack of GOBLUEZZZ on my news feed recently, I'm assuming Louisville is winning? Guess I'll catch the highlights on sportscenter tonight"
"Now I know Michigan is losing because there are a lot of complaints about referees on my news feed. Not watching the game, don't need to."
"goodbye Trey Burke, Tim Hardaway, McJesus, and Band wagon fans."
from my gf "every status on my newsfeed right now is either from MC George Castanza or Ass Dan"
"So should I go out and riot now? y/n?"
"Ass Dan dominated my news feed tonight....
#bitterstatefanwithnopoint" - Notre Dame fan
"Lol so many Michigan fans. Soon we will have Lion fans"
"The number of friends I have is dropping rapidly and I love it."
"My professor this morning: 'At least you can be sure that you're getting a better education than the students at Louisville' I hate this place"
Sometimes being a douchebag is way more fun than being classy
had to take a few from the board as I was going
""Sometimes you get your little brother excited when you're playing basketball and you let him get the lead. Then you come back and take it from him."
Nobody fucked with UM fans last night?
Meh, I just pointed out to one UMer complaining about bandwagon Louisville fans that not that long ago Michigan fans claimed basketball doesn't matter.
I just posted some slightly altered Metallica lyrics.
"Get that fuel,
Get that fire,
Burn that couch which you desire!"
I only fuck with WalMarters that start it. Otherwise, I take the high road. It can get rough when you live in Ann Arbor and the majority of your friends are UM grads (who, for the most part, know when to keep their mouths shut).
Well, living in Ann Arbor and being a UM undergrad, I can certainly tell you that this assault was warranted.
Calmer than you are
This guy I know kept saying, "Sparty gonna Spart" and posted articles about couch fires in East Lansing after we lost to Duke.
I posted the video of couches on fire in Ann Arbor last night on his wall and he defacebooked me. Apparently, Michigan Men don't light couches on fire, that's what little brother does. Pfft.
What a chump. Can dish it out but can't take it.
If true, this is pretty sad. I know someone who did the opposite, grew up an UM fan but went to State and continued to cheer for UM. I can't tell you how much respect I lost for him when I found that out. Thinking back to my time at MSU I can't imagine cheering for another team, much less the in-state rival. It would be the most miserable experience imaginable.
It's not so bad. Program I wanted to pursue wasn't available at MSU and I got a good amount of grant money coming out of Schoolcraft, it's the way it worked out. Sorry you don't approve.
FUCK POSTER ASS DAN
It just seems like a very unhappy way to spend the funnest time of your life. Also, what program don't they offer at MSU? The only one I can think of is architecture.
Changed my picture to Mateen holding up the national title trophy.
As the late great Tanfan would say, "Troll so hard"

I commented on a friend's status complaining about the refs and her apologist friends supporting that sentiment. Pointed out that they led the way in FTs attempted, were in the bonus early, and officiating didn't lose the game for them. Got a reply from one of her friends (clearly a Walmarter as he went to WMU) that "FTs and fouls don't tell the whole story, there were lots of other no calls, etc. that effect the outcome and those effected the game more."
I replied pointing out how Louisville was getting hacked at the end under the basket and pointed out numerous other calls that went against Louisville demonstrating how it wasn't nearly as one sided. And then capped it off with instructing him on how to speak English by telling him it's "affect", not "effect" and certainly not "effected".
The status update and remainder of conversation was deleted sometime after I went to bed last night.
Oh, and I changed my profile pic to the epic alley oop slam.
"People don't care how much you know until they know how much you care." - Mark Dantonio.
And its not terrible, my lady friend goes here, I still talk to all my friends from home since I grew up fifteen minutes away and I graduate in a year debt free. Still do what any college kid does, just don't go to sporting events.
There's a smaller board that I frequent for the Tigers chat, stopped in the Walverine section to say congratulations on a great year and they should be proud, stayed to set some of them straight on the fact that it was Louisville who got jobbed by the refs last night, not Michigan.
Truly was a bad officiated game all around, but Louisville was getting murdered in the paint with no foul calls all game long.

The spelling errors last night were heinous, saw someone post that the refs were "achroshus"
I had a Walverine do the same thing to me after the Gholston "Attempt of Murder" game. In fact not only did he block me, I think he actually closed his facebook account for a couple months. Those types of fans crack me up, they talk all kinds of shit about sparty-this and sparty-that, but when you give it back to them they take their ball and go home to pout.
Just gchatted with him and said:
You're a true Michigan Man
Can dish it out but can't take it
Love you XXXXXXXX
Dude, it's Ass Dan. Clearly he is majoring in clown make-up, magnets, or the juggalo sciences.
Well, they are a Walverine for a reason. They chose to root for UM because their team won when they were growing up. They root for them so that they don't have to face losing. It is a character trait of any front-running fan.
Gave magnets a shot, still have no fucking clue how they work.
Can someone explain why pants are different than shirts?
