How high does MSU rise in the polls on Monday?

  • It's more than that. Even our wins over bad teams were underwhelming, extending into the Big 10 (UNL, PSU). A lot of voters opinions are optically glib. As for OSU they have been overrated from day 1, even considering they have over performed. How many OSU players would you like to see on MSU's team - 2? (some might like S. Thompson but only for the occasional showy dunk).

  • Some of the people who follow MSU basketball are so damn dumb it numbs my mind. With the full knowledge of Izzo's track record of the team improving over the course of the season and being a monster in March, they cried about losses in November, as if they've ever mattered or were an indicator of anything. They whined about Valentine shooting threes (now you can see why he did). They said we had no outside game. They said we had no inside game. They said our guards can't beat people off the dribble. And on, and on, and on....... They like style points. They want us to beat Nebraska 90-60.

These Spartan Dawgs are grinders. They play defense and pound you in the half court, while picking their spots to break your heart on the fast break. They make you work for every shot. They rebound like hell. They beat you in crunch time.

    Its five o'clock somewhere.
