Saw this douchebag's ride tonight driving to get milk at the local dairy center. Dude is reppin' the D hard with a 313, UM, Tigers and Wings stickers but he's driving a fucking Nissan lol..?!?!? How can you rep the D in a rice burner? Fucking chump. I drive made in USA, fuckface, get off the road!

This drives me fucking crazy.
I think most Nissan trucks are assembled in the US. Engines made in US, and transmission made in Japan.
Wrangler manual transmissions are made in Brazil I believe.

You probably could if you really wanted to.
NOT IN THE MOTOR CITY
Aren't Wranglers assembled in Toledo?
And, aren't you the guy that wears about 16 different MLB hats?
By any chance, did he have a goatee?
This. The vast majority of Nissans are built in the United States. They also employ more Americans then Chrysler.
It's like smoking meth in Amsterdam
This might be your best post of all times, Bro.
It's like wearing a Yankees hat to a Diamondbacks game.
This thread makes my head hurt, and is clearly a trolling attempt by ghosty
Dairy center? Do you have to wait in line for bread at the bread center too? Arizona is weird.
But the profit (read: wealth) goes out of the country jack ass.
This argument sucks. The UAW still gets hosed and Nissan is only able to build plants here because of the insane tax breaks they receive for it. In order to compete with the cost of production, American auto makers have to outsource. Blame dickhead politicians for this fact, not American auto companies
The fact remains, however, that the vast majority of the revenue generated from a car sale goes to the headquarters of the company, which in this case is Japan. No matter how you spin it, buying foreign is not acceptable when living in a city where all three major American car companies reside.
Buy a Ford or get a horse. No other options.
There are quite a few American shareholders.
I would guess that some of the profit associated with the building of Nissan cars and trucks stays in the US.
Maybe they use it to build auto plants...in the US...for example.
That doesn't justify buying a foreign car while living in Michigan.
Is this the first Wells post/thread on the board?
This is America. Dude is free to buy whatever car he wants and root for whichever teams he wants.
I can't believe people still think like this.
And we are free to rip on him for being a goatee wearing dickbag.
First point, yes. Second point, no. There are rules about the teams you can root for. Read the Constitution.
Detroit's own leaders steal from the city and have done more to harm it than some random sports-loving guy who bought a Nissan.
