Seriously, every time I start thinking about tonight's game, I get the dry heaves and start shaking.
I have a very bad feeling about tonight's game.
Someone calm me down please before I upchuck on my desk in front of all the Duke fans sitting around me here in the office.
I would give out bacon kisses, but the thought of bacon right now makes me want to barf - WHAT THE HELL IS WRONG WITH ME!!!!!!!
I'm pretty nervous as well. I don't like playing Duke. Hoping Izzo continues to impress!
I KNOW, I KNOW!!! I am never like this before a game, but this week has been awful.
Maybe because I live in NC and am surrounded by Duke fans here at work.
I might just have to start drinking the minute I get home tonight.
sounds like someone needs a carrot..
Breathe. It's all gonna be OK. We match up very well with Duke. Payne's length should be able to give Kelly fits. It will be difficult for Plumlee to get around Nix. If Appling and Harris are hitting shots, we should be fine.
Win, lose or draw...you can always hold your head high as a Spartan.
Now, go eat some bacon...
I don't remember an Angel of God visiting me in the middle of the night, nor do I still have the parts to get pregnant, so if I am, IT'S A MIRACLE!!!!
EAT SOME BACON
Yes, yes, all very good points. Will print this out and re-read again and again this afternoon.
You know Minnie is off her game when the thought of bacon makes her want to barf.
Bob's not worried.
Did you run into Alanis Morissette recently?
Someone recently asked in a forum I frequent: "Why are we here?"
This is the answer to that question, from the end of _Dogma_, (c) 1999

It's an Easter Miracle!
This is my philosophy. (At least until 9:45.) Truly, though, while it may seem that every human on earth is wrapped up in March Madness, I think you'd be surprised by the number of people who are blissfully ignorant. I wish I was one of them... Cuz my nerves are on fire!
"Spartan women were known for their natural beauty... They were notorious for their razor-sharp wit and outspoken natures."
Just take deep breaths until game time...also if scum gets stomped you will feel better going in.
To die in ann arbor is redundant
You know Minnie, there's nothing wrong with barfing on a dukie's desk. Just make sure some of it gets in their lap also.
THEN, go have some BACON!
Nίκη για MSU
Thank you everyone, I am starting to calm down a little.
I am definitely drinking tonight, I'd rather be a little blotto during the game than barfo!!!
You don't start drinking the minute you get home every night?
That's always a good plan
Ah fuck, even Izzo picked Duke to beat State
From the blog The Dagger: College Basketball Blog: He sleeps in a house paid for by his father's basketball success, claims as a middle name and likely has a wardrobe that features Spartan green as its primary color. None of that, however, prevented 13-year-old Steven Izzo from … Continue reading →
No. Since I hit my 40's I may have a glass of wine 1 or 2 times a month, but that's about it (unless I am with my family. Then alcohol is an absolute necessity).
I am old.
That must be awful. Maybe as bad as being surrounded my Michigan fans. The smug, cocky smirks on their faces. The misplaced arrogance. The faith that with the help of the refs and a few well-feigned flops, they'll get to the line enough to win.
Screw 'em . (Not literally). It will be a close game. You're about the most intuitive person of whom I'm aware. But I think you're off on this one. (Fervently hoping so....). Trust in Izzo. Trust in good winning. And drink heavily.
Seriously hope you're wrong about this one....
Spartans ...committed to bring Paul Bunyan home in 2013.
What? Just a game?
