the best, most exciting final games in awhile, maybe ever? Seriously? Even without my green and white glasses I don't see it.
We must not have been watching the same game. Both teams brought it last night. One of the best college games I've ever seen.
It was probably in the top 25 of all time title games. Not best all time but it was very good.
A man's gotta eat!
Very enjoyable game
Kansas Memphis and Duke Butler had by far better and more exciting finishes and that's just in the past 5 or 6 years. But the Albright and Luke show in the 1st half was pretty crazy and memorable.
Mind the perspective. These people have only been following basketball for little over 2 years.
It was very good. I'd say Memphis Kansas and probably UConn Duke 99 were both better, but it was one of the best since the 80s, which had a ton of great finals games.
Tough to call it the best game ever because it didn't have a dramatic finish. The first 35 minutes or so were very entertaining though.

Thought it was a great game played at a very high level.
the sad thing is....SOMEBODY had to lose. The not so sad thing is....it was SCum
I agree with your picks. That Duke-UCONN game was phenomenal.
I'd also add the Arizona-Kentucky game from 97, and Syracuse-Kansas from 03.
The first half was a classic. The second half was pretty well controlled by Louisville. Michigan's last lead was with 15:45 remaining in the game, the last tie was with 13:50 remaining.
I am with the OP. The first half had a couple of run and it was fun to watch but the second half watching michigan shoot free throws every possession was not exciting whatsoever.
Duke/Butler may have had an exciting finish, but it was an excruciatingly boring game. Almost as bad as the UConn/Butler abomination.
I'd say it was one of the best championship games that I've watched. It seemed like a fitting end to the season. Very entertaining
Reminded me of the B1G Title game last year with us and OSU, just an exciting game and really well played. The better team won both games.
Can't knock the game, it was pretty solid. Good outcome either way though. This will only leave Michigan fans more bitter in the end because they won't be back for a long time.
UNC/Illinois 2005 was better

Great game. Both teams played aggressive, made a ton of plays, and didn't back down. The better team won and deserved to be champs too.
We're still close enough to the abomination that was UConn-Butler where every other championship game looks amazing
You can't take anything away from Michigan that game, they played hard and left it all out on the court. They shot the lights out too, but in the end Louisville took their best game and was just a better team.

The fact that you had to go back 8 years to find a comparably exciting title game basically proves that the game last night was pretty great.
I enjoyed watching it.
You're crazy, that game was really fun. High scoring despite some really good D and a physical game. Threes raining down from waaaaay out there. Clutch play both ways. Fairly tight score for most of it. AND the bad guys lost. Good game!
I thought it was a fun game to watch. And I danced around when Walvie lost.

The first half of last night's NCG was one of the best halves of basketball I've ever seen. The second half was less interesting, but only because it was painfully obvious that Louisville was going to win.
