I now have to agree with this. Duffy is hateful. He picks a poster and stalks them. Not a true buddy you could rely on.
Neither of these claims are true.
Sampson went to MSU and grew up in Bath. Dude has spent his whole life within 25 miles of MSU. He's not a UM slappy.
Straight sports knowledge aside, Staudt is WILX for the most part and I'm pretty sure he has bought into partial ownership of the station itself. He doesn't really have to answer to anyone given that. As long as he's there to read the 45 seconds of sports clips three nights per week he can pretty much do whatever the fuck he wants and has shown it regularly. All he had to do was say he was doing a small feature on Denard's last game as a Michigan Wolverine and just like that he's in Tampa/St. Pete playing 18 per day for a week on WILX's dime while maybe doing two or three hours of actual work. Probably just didn't like Arizona as much as Florida and said "Nah, not doing this"... because he can.

I don't do twitter and don't stalk teenagers.
One thing I agree with Bob Knight on, Coach Izzo has done far too much, and worked far to hard for people to use his name so casually in a conversation, like they are best buddies and sit in the livingroom with chips and beer watching the Rose Bowl together.
Coach Izzo may be reaching a boiling point. But I doubt if you, or I, or anyone else knows what he is thinking, or what his fix for that problem will be.
If you laugh, you think, and you cry, that's a full day. That's a heck of a day.
I don't hate anyone.
It is a pretty serious accusation to accuse someone of the things he mentions. I've met 3 people from the Mag on football weekends and they all mentioned later on the board that I am a great guy.
For Duffs benefit, I am happily married with an 11 yr old son and I am lucky not to have to work so I have a lot of time to follow recruiting and sports at MSU.
I dont mind being called an idiot for my views on players etc but the personal stuff crosses the line and is cowardly as well
can't rely on your internet buddies? what is this world coming to?
How many minutes is a bunch? And...who will you be collecting from?
If it is so evident that he should be playing, and apparently it is from some guy in NY who doesn't go to practices...then, maybe he was just hurt. If that's the case, it would be kind of idiotic for you to bet on how many minutes he's going to play.
You stalk Ross on here, so yes you do like little boys. And, when you are proven wrong, you start threads on separate subjects with the intent of humiliating the poster that defeated you. NY called the Parker commit early and he was correct. Kudos to him for getting it right. You are just mad he was correct and look for excuses to humiliate him. You go after posters with a zeal like no other on here. If they get under your skin, you stalk them.
True buddies don't exist through a computer screen.
Well...yeah. He's the coach. He goes to the practices.
Yes, duffy...please stop humiliating the other posters.
Hey Tim....any chance you can hook me up with a deal from Go Green Glass?
I don't care if Costello looks like dog shit in practice, in the few situations he's gotten on the court in the games, he's looked pretty good and gritty and definitely more aggressive than Gauna who while he does have a decent jumpshot, he's frequently looked slow, overmatched and flat footed on rebounds. That kind of player isn't going to fly in conference play which is going to a battle night in and night out.
We need a 3rd big man to step up. No it's not going to make or break the season but it'll definitely help. And if you're not going to play Costello, why waste his redshirt? He has too much talent and potential to play scrap minutes and burn his shirt in the process.

You realize I wasn't defending him, right? He's phoning it in and he won't hang it up because he's scared to lose the connections he has and the rounds of golf with Hollis and Steve Smith.
Did he intro himself as a "first time caller long time listener"?

"I think the world is run by C students"
I just watched about 45-55 minutes of their practice. It doesn't at all look to me like Izzo has reached his boiling point with the bigs. He actually seemed a lot happier than I've seen him in previous years and even the players seemed to be enjoying practice more than in the past. And costello looks very average compared to the other bigs in practice, he just has a lot of learning to do. 1 blown assignment in 1 game can be the difference between a big ten championship and runner up. I think I'll have to trust my own eyesight and Tom fucking Izzo on this one. Izzo wants to win, he's not going to keep people off the court that will help him do that.
I agree for a station in E. Lansing, the on air talent know very little about the teams they cover.
Does it make you feel better that you believe most of the posters you stalk on here are college aged instead of teenage boys?
Amen. Thanks for your analysis. Upvote for you. Now nysparty1 will say "none of you respect my insight so I'm done posting for a while" then come back three weeks from now and spout more bullshit as if it's insider stuff.
Sounds like something Jerry Sandusky would say.
Thank you, Denicos.
Wait a minute....are you telling me that a radio listener and message board fanatic is NOT influencing Coach Izzo? I thought for sure COS convinced him that he should play Costello.
Did he drop "I can fix this team" like he did on spartanmag?
nysparty1's ideal lineup:
He's a good enough passer to pass to himself right?
Duffy is a weird dude.
Don't even give him the time of day anymore.
