IU only returns 2 regular rotation players from last year... Wow, might be a tough year in Bloomington.

Sheehey and Ferrell. Everyone else either transferred, went pro, or graduated.
So its pretty much Yogi, Sheehey and their 2013 recruiting class that will get playing time
Why is he a POS?
Is he transferring?
There's a time and a place for everything and it's called college.
Crean is a complete dick. I rooted for him earlier because he was an MSU/Izzo guy. But the way he treated that scUM assistant coach was absolutely ridiculous. The smirk afterwords made it even worse. Complete tool.
He's oversigned by 1 and is still actively recruiting 2013 kids. Creaned = cutting the last guy on the bench to open up space on the roster.
......wasn't cutting it so he got "creaned" which I assume is similar to getting 'rodriguezed'.....he GONE and his scholly is gone because he isn't good enough. $EC does it, O$U does it and fat boy Hoke is starting to as well. The the fact is athletic scholarships are a year to year contract. NOT a four year free ride.....that's a misconception. NOT sticking up for Crean, just stating a fact.
So, he's turning into the Saban of college basketball? I guess no one is worse than Calipari, but still.
So the kid is on scholarship? If so, yes, dick move, plus I didn't think you could do that. If it is a walk on player, I see nothing wrong with it.
It was a UM assistant. I'm fine with the way he was treated.
someone else had to go. He was still oversigned by 1 even after losing Zeller and HomeDepot.
That is his move. Oversign, keep recruiting people, force out previous recruits.
"Indiana has been rumored to still be recruiting 2013 guard Jaren Sina, who was released from his commitment to Northwestern in recent weeks after head coach Bill Carmody was fired. With Abell’s transfer, Indiana is no longer oversigned for next year."
So if they get Sina, someone else will have to get out to make room for him.

"Put your mother in a straight-jacket you punk ass white boy." ~ Mike Tyson
Lol true. But the way he acted was out of line, if it was any other team than scUM, what would you say about someone doing something like that?
That's f'ed up.
I always thought scholarships where honored as long as the kid was working hard. I didn't think you could be a slacker and stay on scholarship.
Valid point: that was ULTRA douchey....bump this thread when SCum puts up a hundy on his ass next year in AA. It' ll happen too....I still say Burke will be only one to leave that team. Just a hunch but they'll be damn good if that's the case.
I have a decent size list of schools whose assistants Crean can berate.

Crean is recruiting a former Northwestern commit for 2013. We'll hear in the next week or two that Maurice Creek won't be returning for his 5th year.
Thing is, what Crean did is practically the same thing Calipari did to Archie Goodwin at UK. It's wrong.
Hardaway is gone.
Well.....some programs still honor them IF the work is put in. I'd like to think Izzo and Coach D' are old school in that way, but this is what I call the $EC effect.....swimming with the sharks.....eat or be eaten type scenario. Now it's starting to catch fire and become more accepted unfortunately.
Personally, I hope UM loses every game they play. Until the end of time.
Would +1 if I had any votes left. They could play Al Qaeda or Nazi's, and I would root against Michigan.
In other conferences, probably true. But Crean is the only Big 10 basketball coach that blatantly oversigns and cuts. And he does it at the easiest school to recruit to.
I guess that's the popular theory because his FUCK up Dad is deep in debt. 2 things on Hardaway: 1)he's overrated and won't go in the first round.....could go middle second IMO 2) Haven't ever seen the kid smile or have any fun on the court at all....kinda sad playing with the burden of trying to bail out his old man
Kids know going in - if he wasn't good enough to remain on the IU roster then he should have gone to a MAC school instead. Like it or not, it'll be the norm in order to stay competitive.
