because he is just blessed to be playing at this level. his words not mine.
That is not a big ten championship attitude.
Anyone who has watched the junior stand in the pocket and take hits wouldn't doubt Maxwell's commitment to winning.
Obvious Nucky is obvious.
Mods, please do your job.
Yeah... That really isn't the right attitude from someone who should be a team leader.
nucky , yeah right lol, whats the matter I just put up a real article.
Your screen name is appropriate, just drop the 247.
I see where he's coming from, and I don't agree with it. I can't see MSU losing the next two games and Maxwell sleeping well at night being a good thing. Glad you're excited to get a participation award, but you're here to win championships.
I really hope someone lied and Maxwell didn't really say that
Like Kirk Cousins before him, Maxwell seems like a well adjusted young man who will be a tremendous success in life, football or not. He's OK with me.
Why? its appropriate for people like you who cant handle someone posting a real article. I didnt write it.
I've been following his twitter this year and I absolutely understand this comment and I'm not concerned in the slightest. He's another devout Christian, it's what made Kirk Cousins such a fantastic leader and it will be the same for Maxwell
"When I was in school they told me practice makes perfect. Then they told me nobody's perfect. So I stopped practicing." --Steven Wright
What an awful thing to say.
"If you're worried about Wolverine fans, just move to Pasadena. You'll never have to deal with 'em."
On the 7th day, God created Damion Terry
From a poster who no doubt quit on the team after 4 games.
He's saying it because he knows we'd be getting a new OC next year. Duh.
Glad our starting quarteback has high expectations. Can't wait until he is gone after next season and we can try someone else.
This. Some people read way too far into comments made by athletes and come away with nonsense as result of taking those comments out of context.
I'm pretty sure Andy wants to win as much, if not more, than most college players out there. He's just pretty damn thankful (and humble) for the opportunity.

Be fair now.
I'm sure it was only after 3.
Come on Mods.. ban this trash.
I don't think it makes the season and success, but his attitude and perspective are right on.
This thread makes me long for Kirk Cousins' cocky, And1-type attitude.
tRCMB - Visit at your own risk of being disgusted.
"Yeah, fuck humility! I want a quarterback that's a total douchebag! Only douchebags can be team leaders!"
for what, posting a mlive article that Maxwell made the choice to do?? Bury your head in the sand.
Someone please expose Nucky. All we need is his name, cell number, place of employment

Being discontented that you didn't win more close games and thankful that you were able to play in them are not mutually exclusive attitudes.
