...he would be a top 10 pick. FACT!!! gholston's attitude is lax. If he had the heart of clowney we would consider him the greatest DL other than bubba. Do you think gholston would cause that fumble if we didn't get the spot?
I have an MBA...Master at Being Amazing
I thought Clowney was pretty quiet that game up until that point.
Will is bigger and a lot less agile. He's not going to be a pass rusher like Clowney ever.
clowney has way more natural talent than gholston

Gholston is a great Spartan and I don't know why anyone would hate on him.
Clowney has Julius Peppers like talent so it's not a knock saying Gholston isn't as talented as Clowney.
As good as Clowney is, he was totally unblocked on that play.

No hating. Just saying he could do a lot more with his natural talents than what he has done somewhat. When I see guys like clowney and watt, I think of how hard they work and their attitude. Then we get guys who talk shit on twitter and can't back it up. For once I would like to have a player in hesiman contention for the full year or go top 10 in the draft. A player who will be the heart and soul of the team. So far the only guys that have maximized their talents are elswerth and maybe bullough

You're a fool it you think the difference between Gholston and clowney is simply "attitude". Clowney is a freak even when compared to WG. He's the #1 pick as soon as he's eligible. Gholston can play better, but your comparison and reasoning are horse shit and don't do justice to a talent like Clowney. But this is par for the course with you.

Another great post from one of the biggest queefs on this board

What a load of shit. Only guys to have maximized their talents? What do you call Bell then? He delivered on all the hype. How about Dennard? Damn good season; singlehandedly SHOULD have beaten Nebraska. How about the safeties, Williamson and Drummond? Terrific seasons.
What you're saying is you want a once-in-a-generation type of player for a program like S. Carolina? Yeah, I think we'd all love for the 2nd coming of Julius Peppers to be on our team, but let's not belittle the current players to make that point.
well, here's the deal: the posts toward the beginning of this thread are all over the map:
my two cents:
1) Will is bigger and less athletic: he's more of an anchor WHEN HE IS DISCIPLINED and is better vs the run but Clowney does EVERYTHING ELSE BETTER: He's the number 1 pick right now..overall it's a bentley vs. a chevy right now: sorry it just is
2) Jack da SCummer troll is right: Clowney was quiet until 4th qtr....Lewan is a dirty twat but if they Lions were smart (which they are NOT) they'd draft his dirty ass....fucker is good and dirty or dirty and good....draft him losers (btw: I am NOT a lions fan...but he'll be there at 5......probably)

Ahh, the ole FACT, that mentally, Clowney is better.
You said he doesn't have a good attitude and doesn't have enough "heart". You go on to imply that he doesn't work hard.
This is hating. Are you at practice? Are you in the locker room? Do you really know anything about his attitude, heart, work ethic?
Gonna have to disagree. Will is an animal on the field, plain and simple. He has that onfield/offfield switch in his head. Animal on the field and a smiling, pleasant man during interviews afterward.
Gholston actually had a better Cap One Bowl last year than Clowney did this year. And did so against a better team.
Player bashing will be tolerated, as long as it isn't in a game thread!
Stupid post is stupid.
It's really annoying when people speak on the mentality of athletes. Unless you are close personal friends, you have no idea how WG feels. Just like when people say Coach D is too loyal. Unless you know the person personally, you can't say shit about what they think.
