what would it be?
I would say Sweet Caroline. I also hate "The Hockey Song".
The hockey song by Stompin Tom, a classic canadian country music singer. With a few NHL pictures.
You're not going to make many friends with the Munn crowd if you don't enjoy The Hockey Song
And if the good Lord’s willin’,
I’m a keep on chillin’,
refillin’ and flyin’ high
That ridiculous Tonto song.
seven nation army
I don't mind Sweet Caroline. I really want to remove YMCA and Don't Stop Believing. They play it at every Tigers game and people go crazy over the fact that Detroit is mentioned in a mainstream song.
Thunderstruck. and Welcome to the Jungle. G'bye.
South Detroit*. i have a buddy who gets allpissy when the song is played because no such place exists (it's the detroit river)
Electric Slide and Do the hustle honorable mention. Whatever song goes "everybody clap your hands" is the hands down winner. It's like the epitome of white people music.
This. I actually used to like the song, but now it's way over used in sports. Also, I hate the Kernkraft 400 Zombie Nation song. Ohhhh ohhhh oh oh. We are [insert school name here]."
You're in college. The window of opportunity to drink and do drugs and take advantage of young girls is getting smaller by the day.
This. I was going to say "right foot....left foot one time" (or whatever. I believe that's the same shit.
Hava Nagila? What that has to do with basketball, I'll never know.
I actually don't mind these when played at an appropriate time. Thunderstruck to me is still a great opening for any home MSU football game and the opening to Welcome to the Jungle seems to really fire up a lot of the crowd at basketball games I've been to over the years.
Glory Days. It's worse when it's a song you hate from an artist you love.
OP, do you like hockey? If so, how could you hate the hockey song???
jump on it!!

What is that, a Titleist? A hole in one...
ZOMBIE NATION. I hate anybody and everybody who likes this song. Every damn school plays it. It fucking sucks.
Location: Mumbai, India
The MSU Fight Song. Love it, but whenever I'm at a game the band plays it like 100 times.
We will rock you
I believe the correct answer is The Cha-Cha Slide, made popular on grade school and high school dance floors in the early 2000's. At least that's how I remember it.
Love hockey. I njust think The Hockey Song is super cheesy. It is trying to be "Take me Out the the Ballgame", but it's just stupid Saskatchewan country bull crap.
And black people weddings
Rock and Roll by Gary Glitter. Can't believe some places still play it.
To each his own but I prefer not to be reminded of child molesters while watching sports.
So you don't watch games when we play PSU?
Seven Nation Army
Rock 'N Roll Part 2
Sweet Caroline (Boston Red Sox get a pass on this one)
Don't Stop Believing is quickly approaching Sweet Caroline status, but at least there is a Detroit reference so Detroit teams get a pass on that one.
I don't really watch hockey, so I'm only vaguely familiar with the hockey song.
"Lets get it started" (black eyed peas) you and i both know that song is "lets get retarded"
Your average UofM fan and I have something in common, neither of us went to UofM. Though we do share One major difference, I got Accepted.
They really do need to chill on that. The song gets old after the 15th time its played before the game even starts.
