Took a look to see what they were thinking about the game tomorrow, and they seem to think it's not looking good.
" L. By a lot."
"Payne and Nix will have career nights in the paint against Egwu and McLovin. Appling, G. Harris, and Dawson outplay Abrams, Bp3, and Dj. That will equal a double digit lost in East Lansing my friends.
Mich St - 81
Illini - 63 "
"Prediction: Pain. The good teams in the league are beating us by 15 at home. Now we get to play one on the road. Yikes. "
"This will not be fun.
Ugly loss coming. "
I personally see this game being a little closer. Maybe 68- 54
Pregame: Illinois at Michigan State, Thursday, January 31st, 6:00pm CT, ESPN Fighting Illini Basketball
Wow, Mclovin. Nice.
They shouldn't be confident, their team sucks.
tRCMB - Visit at your own risk of being disgusted.
Nix, Payne and Dawson should beat them by themselves.
This is the type of game I would expect MSU to lose in past years. This game tonight will be a better indicator than Sunday's IMHO on where this team is mentally
How are they going to win if their message board posters don't believe???
"If you're worried about Wolverine fans, just move to Pasadena. You'll never have to deal with 'em."
Sorry to ruin your night but the game is tomorrow.
I appreciate the respect they have for our team, that said I don't think the game will be a blowout. Illinois has always played MSU hard, and it is never a given.

Plus we don't do blow-outs/
Edit: Nevermind, I thought tomorrow's game was at Illinois

We haven't blown anyone out really so it's hard to assume we will tomorrow. But it would be really nice to get up 15 and stay there, and then get extended minutes from Gauna or Costello or even Byrd. Would love to see Valentine get more time as well. I love our starting 5, but I think the extended rotation needs to step up to win the conference and then make a final 4.
I meant tomorrow. what channel will it be on?
I bet it's close.
If you're expecting a blowout, you're going to have a bad time. MSU by 7, close and uncomfortable last 5 min.
Purdue was a blowout. This should be similar.
They sound like our football fanbase.
hoke- to alter or manipulate so as to give a deceptively or superficially improved quality or value.
Illinois has always played us tough. There is something about that school that's always made it difficult. We should win by 6-10 points. We will be in control all night, but never will put them away.
MSU fans should not be expecting this at all. ILL is not good.
If Paul can go off for 30+, we have a chance.
Agreed. Less than a ten point win.
This team plays to its competition. The game will be relatively close.
If Paul and Richardson both go for 30 you might score 65.
Is Mclovin Griffey? I played with him in high school, dude is a 2 guard in a 4's body.
