Neither team deserved to be here. And this is the result of terrible executive management of this league's officials and its desire to kowtow to certain programs.
The B1G officiating was so bad this year towards MSU, it seemed orchestrated (I'm not saying it was, rather it seemed). Conversely, Nebraska was given this division. Oh, Wisconsin....had Delany did what he should have done two years ago with OSU, ...you'd be waiting for your BWW Bowl bid instead of us.
Perhaps. delaney and his ilk will take the steps necessary to let the team decide games, and not the officiating (or brand), during conference games.
Until then, I'm enjoying this hot mess

Personally, I've never hated this conference more than I do right now
This. Getting screwed out of the Rose bowl multiple years was bad. And now we see a crappy Wisconsin team go for the third year in a row.
Why exactly doesn't Nebraska deserve to be here?
Coming from an impartial viewpoint, I've never seen a team get screwed out of more games this year than Michigan State. MSU has a legitimate gripe this year. I agree neither team in the B1G champ game deserved to be there. The fact that Wisky will represent the B1G in the Rose Bowl at 7-5 is a disgrace.

Maybe our ceiling wasn't as high as we thought coming in, but we did not need any outside help in screwing ourselves out of this game.

Things are only getting more screwed up. Adding PSU and UN made sense on a football level. Adding Maryland and Rutgers were done to get into TV markets and if anything subtract from the strength of the conference, though Maryland usually has a decent hoops team. Hoping the rumors of additional teams are false, because at this point Delaney is merely stacking shit.

So how does this CF game's result mess up the bowls? Are we really locked in to BW3?

No way Nebraska goes as a BCS at-large even if they finish in the top 14. They are getting massacred worse than Custer at Little Bighorn. We will still go to the Buffalo Wild Wings Bowl.

Because Adams' block was legal, Darqueze didn't interfere, and Lehman reached the ball across the goal line before fumbling.
From what I can tell, yes. Where UN, UM and NW go is the clusterf right now I think.
I agree with being happy Wisky wins. It's a complete sham of a championship and should have 4 asterisks next to it, If Nebraska wins a lot of people would actually see it as legitimate. This way, no one really wins.
OH SNAP! KARMA!
Didn't UNL get blown out like this by Colorado in the last game of the season about 10 years ago, and thus miss the Big XII CCG? It seems there were several upsets that year in the various Championship Games, where the un-ranked underdogs knocked off the highly-ranked favorites, and UNL got the invite to the BCS CG.
MSU did some screwing to itself. Losing to Iowa, Northwestern, and UM was all on coaching.
Yes, something like 62-36. Then they got plowed by the U in Pasadena.
Plus Drummond was tackled by their tightend on martinez's first big run that resulted in a td. I've never seen something that blatant not called. That game was a disgrace.
Yes in 2001...Colorado beat them 62-36. Nebraska was undefeated and number 1 or 2. Bastards didn't get to CCG but still wound up in the Title game.
Either way we still got fucked more than anyone else in the conference. And we had terrible calls go against us against Iowa and NW too.
Watching these teams play is like watching your ex-wife drive off a cliff in your brand new Ferrari. Mixed emotions to say the least. But Karma is a bitch, Nebraska was gifted two wins this year and it's nice to see them get massacred even if Bielema is a total tool.

No. Bad coaching, bad execution, AND bad luck. It wasn't 100% on anything in any of those games. It took a gigantic shit-storm of all three going wrong for us to lose those three games.

I just realized this...
How pissed are UM fans right now? They lost to Nebraska after putting something named Bellomy in at QB and still managed to keep it somewhat competitive. They very well might win that game if Gardner goes in at QB
That thought provided a little bit of comfort, but not much
AND Nebraska will get the Capital One ahead of them.
I don't know a lot, but I don't exactly think that MSU should be there. The team lost five conference games. Even though there was some terrible officiating that went against us, it's not like the only reason MSU isn't 8-0, 11-1 is a B1G conspiracy. Maybe Nebraska shouldn't have won against us and Penn State, but it would probably be Michigan going in their place. Do you really think that's any better?
On the Wisconsin side, it's not their fault that Ohio State and Penn State were ineligible this year. Plus, it's not like the other Leaders Division teams were going to go either.

Agreed. The Legends was pathetic this year. The two best teams were in the Leaders, and they were both ineligible. It was a perfect crap-storm to create an awful CCG.
Regardless, MSU finished 6-6. MSU did get screwed a lot, but let's not kid ourselves, MSU lost a lot of games they should have won, because of their own poor play.
They can have their Capital One bowl against Georgia...the end result will probably be about the same as this
