Anyone else find it amusing that UM fan boy is up in here talking shit about basketball? Scheduling no less?
The two losses MSU had came in Florida and Germany. It's called road games... Something you would know nothing about;)
Whatever doesn't kill you makes you stronger... Hence, the 6 final fours over a span that scUM hasn't made it to a sweet sixteen (in like 20 years)! You should try some early season road games against top 25 teams. It truly works!

I don't know if you knew this, but it is impossible to have the TV on and the internet at the same time. Therefore you point is completely valid.
I think you have road games confused with neutral site games, which Michigan knows a bit about. Although if you'd like to tell me which actual road games you have against top 25 teams, I am all ears.
It appears that Michigan basketball fans (a species most thought was extinct) have no clue how to handle success or temper expectations. You'd think last year's finish would have taught them a thing or two, but it apparently hasn't. Then again, it's hard to act like you've been there before when you haven't actually been there before. I'll bet most of the pleather-clad Walverines in this thread were still swinging in their daddy's nutsack the last time Michigan cheated its way to success.

Just wondering, WHAT ARE YOU DOING HERE? Michigan is obviously the greatest thing since sliced bread, and is above considering MSU as a rival. Shouldn't you be over at Buckeye Planet or whatever O$U's message board is because you "hate" them so much? . Why are you here, on a non-rivals message board, proselytizing, about a sport that no one at Michigan cares about? I realize you Wings "fans" need a bandwagon to jump on, but why don't you wait until they actually make it past the first weekend in the tournament before touting their greatness.
they are terribly mediocre teams and it was a neutral site "tourney" - Pitt has wins over such powerhouses as Bethune Cookman, Howard, Delaware, and the North Florida Ospreys. Michigan is the only team from the major conferences they've played. there's a reason they aren't ranked. Same goes for KState - Delaware, North Florida, something called the "USC Upstate Spartans", and North Dakota. One decent win w/ a road game vs. George Washington, but again not a single game against a BCS conference other than Michigan.
The one and only point is that no one can say one way or another whether or not Michigan is a top 5 team. Their schedule sucks. Without true road games it's impossible to properly evaluate a team. As I said earlier, once they play 6 out of 9 on the road in the big ten from mid January to mid february then we'll know. Until then it's pure speculation, and bragging about beating crap to mediocre teams in November and December is pretty fucking sad.
Getting back on topic...
Indiana was exposed as a fraud today.
Forks down, bitches!!!
oh look, K state getting bent over at Gonzaga.
Crean sucks, he'll find a way to lead that team to a 4th place finish.
Isn't everything just speculation at this point? Michigan has 5 wins over bcs conference schools that's More than any other team in the country. I hate them, but to say their schedule is bad, or that they don't deserve the ranking they have doesn't seem right. Besides duke, who has a better resume right now?
Miami (current top 20 RPI). I only use RPI since that is what a scUM fan used to start this argument! UConn and KU were both top 25 (albeit neutral site games). scUM played their only ranked opponent at HOME!
I like how RPI is completely acceptable to rank Miami, who lost to Florida Gulf Coast, but Michigan's #2 RPI ranking isn't deserved just because We played NC State at home and Pitt and K-State at neutral sites. Good, logical statements.
Arizona definitely has a better resume at this point with a top-5 win over Florida. Indiana has wins over Georgetown and UNC, and the tough loss to Butler doesn't change that.
This discussion shouldn't really be about who has a "better resume," though. It's far too early in the season to be comparing schedules based on wins and losses. No one (least of all a team in the B1G) is getting out of this season undefeated, so the fact that Michigan has avoided a loss so far doesn't really impress me. A close loss against a top-10 team tells you a whole lot more than a blowout win over West Virginia or Kansas State. I'm much more sold on Louisville, Illinois, Florida, Georgetown, and Minnesota at this point than Michigan. Those are all teams that have played a more challenging schedule so far, and have looked very good despite that fact.
Michigan is playing great ball right now, no doubt. But they're not going to keep shooting 51% from the field and 40% from behind the arc against B1G defenses. It's just not going to happen.
Damn I'm so impressed with the BCS Powerhouses Michigan has played so far. Funny you bring up the BCS since All of these are pretty much football schools, hell 3 out of the 5 have been to the BCS in the past couple years. What does that tell you?
They have 2 losses all season, right? Is this thread correct if they don't go undefeated? dumb. no one is this year, especially in the big 10.

Thoroughly outplayed on their home floor by a team that wasn't even considered in the top 6 of the conference going in, albeit is leading the conference at 4-0 so far. If you're a top 5 team you have to defend your home floor. They looked awful attempting to do so last night.

It is ALWAYS a great day to be a Spartan!!!!
In all fairness, Wisconsin specializes in making the sport of basketball look like a 50-car pileup sliding off a freeway bridge onto a freight train carrying toxic waste.
and they were VERY good at it last night. They've become a much better team than they were a couple weeks ago. Bo has them going on all cylinders. They are going to be tough to beat (as they always are).
Nίκη για MSU
Are you a closet Wisconsin fan or something? I have never seen one of their games look even that good.
Unfortunately, that means they are going to peak around February 1st, as usual.
Remind yourself. Nobody built like you, you design yourself.
I believe they may still be the best team in a conference that is not top heavy, but very competitive......as long as someone runs over Hulls or he dies in some tragic accident. He is the thorn that will cost Crean huge again and again in every tough, intense game.
Terrific prediction bump
