An Iowa fan's update.
I sat behind her. She did yell "shut up and watch the game" after the airball chant. After she went up and grabbed the student and was escorted back to her seat by security, my buddy said "shut up and watch the game Grandma". She then started complaining to security "He called me Grandma, He called me Grandma!" like some 2 year old. To securities credit they calmed her down for the rest of the game.
After the game she said somethig to the effect of "take that beotch"....my buddy replied "security, security...she called us beotch". She then started calling my buddy Grandpa....
I've never seen anything like this lady....She's gonna have a long 4 years if she keeps this up at away games.
Thin skin fo da win
Would that be different than dealing with an angry white momma?
With the way he got steamrolled and thrown back 8 feet on that charge call with 3:37 in the second half, I can't blame her for feeling like Iowa needs some discipline!
My favorite part of that was as soon as the ref made the call you could see a little smirk come across his face. It was such a blatant flop that it looked like he learned it from Bo Ryan (had to get the shot in there).
Just so we're clear, when someone from Iowa says a group of people are "thuggish", they really just mean "black".
"If you're worried about Wolverine fans, just move to Pasadena. You'll never have to deal with 'em."
I see this has already been covered.
Iowa's colors ARE Thug and Yellow.
I'll give you a +1 for that.
I actually think Trice knew they were due a makeup call (and the guy he was guarding was twice his weight. Tough sledding for him to guard that guy in the post).
Pretty sure Trice's mom is white.
It's weird because in Iowa you're actually allowed to still use the N-word without fear of retribution.
Agreed. No mention was made of the kid she grabbed returning?
"People don't care how much you know until they know how much you care." - Mark Dantonio.
Notice none of those players are recent Iowa bball players. Izzone is slipping.
Need a fence around the parents section??
Even if true, this pales in comparison to some of the stuff Mama Cleaves used to do. Bring it strong, Mrs. Trice!
so much butthurt
New event added to my calander:

9:45-noon - Book signing for NYT best selling novel.
I love lamp.
Let's be honest - how much of this confrontation is due to Iowa fans being completely unfamiliar with interacting with black people? There was more white in that student section than there is at an IKEA on a Saturday afternoon.
I didn't know Iowa basketball had achieved anything in the last 10 years to actually have any fans. I guess they must have let in the homeless to the basketball area for warmth.....
the only good thing to ever come out of iowa is that big tittied cheerleader.
