How does the SOS compare between the 3? Does it even matter anymore with all the SEC slurping?
Now with a PhD in Applied Llama Physics...
Projected BCS Standings
So the SECCG will be a defacto national semifinal.
The RCMB...is one of the most awful, alarming, inappropriate, disgusting, and offensive msg boards in the history of the internet.
Like the Bama/Florida matchups in 08 and 09
Fans, you agree with @ralphDrussoAP? "Losing to Stanford in OT no worse than losing to A&M. USC beats ND, Oregon wins out=Bama-Oregon"
As it should be....I mean, be honest guys: what is ND about the 4th best team in the SEC? They will revel in all this until Bama goes 'Deliverance' on them. Cue up the dueling banjos....Irish gonna need some butt lube.
I don't think KSU has any shot at all, baring 'Bama, Oregon, UGA, Florida and ND all losing again.
Oregon still has a shot. Win out and have ND lose to USC. UGA or 'Bama will be eliminated. It's possible that Oregon winning out jumps Florida and KSU. In fact, I think KSU should be ranked lower than Oregon. They have a point - how is a loss to Stanford in O.T. different than 'Bama losing to TAAM? Fair question.
I'm just curious about the SOS between them. I know that Alabama had a pretty weak schedule this year
I don't agree, Alabama is as dirty as hell. Oregon too. Rather have the programs that do it right be rewarded with the NC game instead of a bunch of sleaze
K-State is going to be Top 9 at best. Oregon actually still has a very slight chance if Florida State beats Florida, Alabama beats Georgia (and/or even better Georgia Tech upsets Georgia), Notre Dame loses to USC. We are going to have to watch out for LSU though if more chaos such as what I just listed ensues.
I have no idea about where the actual SOS numbers line up right now. Seems to me, anyone who has to play in the SEC West and then beat UGA in the SEC championship game is going to have a strong SOS. Probably better than any other.
I understand Alabama being dirty, but what has Oregon done? And let's not use Phil Knight as an example because you might as well include T. Boone Pickens for Okie State. My dislike for Oregon goes to Chip Kelly.
K, ill try to pull it up
no argument: I said bama would lube up the irish's rear: I stand by that. Of COURSE bama is dirty: never said they weren't. But I DO want ND to have to earn it, whether bama is dirty or not. I didn't want them playing KSU for crissakes: crisis divertied there at least.
If Oregon wins out, I would think Oregon would jump over Florida because they'll have won a conference title and Florida hasn't. I know that didn't hold true last year, but I suspect we've seen the last of a NC title coming from a team that didn't win their division, let alone the conference title. Last year was the outlier.
SOS so far
Current College Football rankings of every major college football team
ND put up 17 against BYU, 13 against scUM and 20 against Purdue, all at home
Imagine what Bama's defense would do to them
I can definitely see where you're coming from. I personally don't watch the NC if the teams are dirty but I am definitely in the minority.
How many of those players would be on the Bama defense if it weren't for the cash handshakes and free cars? I mean, I'm sure the Steelers defense would knock out ND too.
http://frathousesports.com/alabama-paid-cash-for-recruit-brent-calloway/,Okay, Ill preface this post by making it clear we have NO OPINION on this matter, but that at the very least its entertaining to dream up these scenarios
From the blog Dr. Saturday: Agent Ralph Cindrich was on a Pittsburgh radio station on Thursday to discuss the Penn State scandal and sanctions, and in the course of the discussion brought up Nick Saban, saying that on the Alabama coach and … Continue reading →

You're all forgetting that Oregon isn't going to even play in the P-12 title game now. Stanford just needs to beat Cal, which it will easily, and they win the tiebreaker over Oregon. Oregon needed the title game to boost its sos.
It's hopeless everyone. We're stuck with another b.s. SEC "winner" again, so just get used to it now. There is literally no way to escape it unless ND (deserving, but actually about the 10-15th best team) pulls a miracle.
Stanford plays UCLA, not Cal
How weird they don't end with the rivalry game like they always had. So basically then, Stanford could very well be playing UCLA in consecutive weeks.
Oregon isn't in their conference championship game. It's going to be Stanford-UCLA.
do people actually think Oregon is dirty?
So when ND loses to uSC, we get a bama v Florida game?
Effing wonderful. An espn wet dream.
