We need to get Trice one of those rugby/special kid helmets
I hate to get down on a kid, but he would be a huge piece right now. Who knows how many minutes he would gotten last night!

Nix played 32 min at IU. Its hard to stay on the floor many more minutes than that period.
Missed a class and a tutor session.
Serious question from Bob???
(Serious answer: Nix missed a class and tutor session. Supposedly on the border of being able to graduate.)
Nix gave us our interior touches. With him on the bench in the first half, mSU had zero touches in the paint. Nix draws defenders even if he does not shoot and it opens up things for others.
I thought the crowd in the first half was as quiet as as I've seen it in a long time at the Bres. They're supposed to provide energy for the team, not the other way around.
The Izzone is no longer the 6th man as much as a very loud group of spectators. That's the real difference from their hay-day. Used to be, the Izzone got the loudest when the team was struggling the most. Now it's the opposite. The better the team is doing, the louder the Izzone. The plays used to feed off the Izzone, now the Izzone feeds off the players.

A Spartan Today, A SPARTAN FOREVER. Through thick and thin, low and high water I strive to be the best Spartan ever.
It's the sense of entitlement in todays students
Kearney was a bitch anyway. He exposed himself crying last year in the tourney. Mentally weak players like that are not welcome.
Sparty > Walverines
I must be crazy to be in a loony bin like this.
Or, I don't know, the way every crowd everywhere works.
disagree. I don't think it's the way that Duke's student section works, nor was it previously in the Izzone, It's not how the nut jobs in Oakland do for the Raiders, to a lessor extend nor is it the same for Indiana. Other examples as well, though I'm not sure about it having to do with Entitlement or not, the Izzone used to motivate the players when they were down. It doesn't any more. Not saying if that's good or bad or entitled or not. Just the reality.
"Well Gus, I'm beginning to wonder if stars really do matter?"
Wonder how Brandon feels shooting hoops with his fellow students down there at ASU? This is why you don't pull punk shit, Brandon; there are major minutes that could have -- would have -- been yours if you hadn't decided to go all punk on your teammates.
Thank you, Denicos.
this. he brought his michigan gear to Tempe claiming to represent the murder mitton.
