Michigan State says Dave Warner will be the main playcaller, not Jim Bollman. Both are co-OCs
Love the Narduzzi move.
tRCMB - Visit at your own risk of being disgusted.
Get ready for the panic
To die in ann arbor is redundant
What's the main bitching angle on this move? TIA
Anyone. Anyplace. Anytime.
This is great news IMO, we get the best of both worlds on OC (I think Warner will be quite good) and maybe hang onto Nardawg for a while longer or maybe lay the road for a Narduzzi HC. Not a lot to be upset about with this, looks like coach D took his time and laid out a good plan here.
wat? Did you even read the article? Basically MD said he already fills the roll of Assistant HC right now, he just deserves the title and recognition, plus i think the future set up for HC in waiting. He doesn't need an assistant DC, his role as DC won't change at all.
Its a co-co Monday
OSU fans who understood absolutely nothing about Jim Tressel's offense hate Bollman because they're sure he was responsible for their troubles with offense. He also brought in 4 and 5 star OL to OSU, but it doesn't count because they were from Ohio so he sucks at that, too.
That's how I'm looking at it too.. Duzzi is coach in waiting.. I don't think it happens anytime soon, but I think the writing is on the wall...
This, more than anything, allows each coordinator to allocate their resource and time well.
Depending on the opponent each man will have a game planning focus, a down and distance focus, and opponent tend % focus.
With Bollman's resume and experience in the B1G and nationally, combined with the abilities already show by the promoted MSU guys, this could end up being a great move.
Wish they could have announced earlier to avoid the nancies whining, but in this info age word got out before things were finalized.
As I have said all along, trust in Coach D to make good decisions.

Ditto. Not to say he still couldn't get lured away (muschamp), but given the commitment made to keep the Duzzer, they probably want to groom him for the big job someday.
I'm not sure the title does much besides give a little public recognition to a job he was doing anyway, but it is nice to see.
If you have 2 coordinators, you don't really have any?
Remind yourself. Nobody built like you, you design yourself.
He also brought in some good recruits to MSU for Saban.
Still, we have no 4 or 5 stars yet from these guys, time to scrap the whole season.
Nίκη για MSU
I'm waiting for OSU fans to tell me if this was a good move or not before I take a stance on this...
Pretty much exactly what we expected. Glad to see the confirmation that Warner will be calling plays. Also am glad to see Nardog getting assistant head coach. Means he might be here for a while.
Well, now that is is structured like this, I like this hire much, much more.
The good part about Bollman's rep is what we are utilizing. And I am excited to see what Warner can do. His quotes about evolving the O from just blue collar to something more kind of seem telling to me, and I like the shake-up.
PUT NICKLES IN (the booth)!!
I know Bucknuts were critical, but I think Bollman will be good for the O Line. He may give us a chance to be a first choice school in a few more areas of Ohio.
This. Hopefully Warner has the ability to keep D's guessing. Also hope that MSU begins running multiple plays from a single formation, etc.
Or you suck at reading comprehension. That could be the angle.
Hard to believe it takes two people to replace Roushar.
What panic? Rather have Warner calling plays.
