Just got back from Chicago. I took 95 to 69. It was pretty bad for sure.
Its five o'clock somewhere.
Yea I was on 94 today and it was a bitch. Drove back from Chicago to TC. Usually about 5 hours, took about 7 and some change. Blizzarding of and on all day as soon as I got into Michigan. In Grand Rapids a semi jack knived on 96 west and the whole west side of 96 was closed. It was backed up for miles, wonder how that ended up.
It's been practically tropical here all winter in Michigan. I think we can take a week of actual cold.
Sometimes just a dusting of snow is worse than alot.
Is that stretch of 94 2 lanes or 3?
You're one of those gawkers huh
"If you're worried about Wolverine fans, just move to Pasadena. You'll never have to deal with 'em."
When traffic isn't moving I guess I am.
At least you guys have an excuse.
I was just south of Tampa on 75 and saw 2 cars (one flipped on its side) in the ditch about 5 miles apart from each other. Neither had any other cars around indicating an accident... Just a bunch of idiots somehow flipping their cars in completely dry weather.
In October 2001 mid Michigan had a major tornado/dericho event. I can remember my then gf calling me up from I-94 near Galesberg because the freeway was literally closed due to giant trees and parts of houses laying across it.
Never understood why I-94 was never widened between 69 and WMU - it's a traffic bottleneck.
Why not? I do it all the time.
brr. 80 in West Palm Beach today
More importantly the people are insane. I think the sun warps their brains.
Yep, just another day...
