Sweet thread, brah
i only care about spartans --> http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sqsAJQc-NCY
I honestly hardly ever downvote, but I just gave you one. Seriously, life is too short to be such a cheap, miserable bastard (this is coming from one of the most frugal guys you'll meet). A few bucks should be spare change to you, but obviously means a lot to the waitress (as is evident by her confronting your cheap ass). Come on now.
i didn't tip at a BWW once because they cut me off after 7 beers. this was over a period of several hours, wasn't making a peep to anyone...i was told i had to order food. only time i've ever not tipped at least 20%. sons of bitches.
So you left the tip on the CC they cleared and call that OK?
people that dont tip should be shot in the face
Eat a dick Kyle!
well at least nobody likes you.
I can't decide if it's worse that you used a survey to pay for part of your meal or if it's worse that you were eating at a restaurant by yourself.
You shouldn't have stiffed her, but she's just yet another entitled waitress.
If you go back, that won't be cool ranch in the little cup

Leave a $5 bill next time dick.
Hey now. Because that hit close to home, settle down.
Something tells me this is a ghost schtick.
Keeping the sunshiners in check since 2000.
Deep thoughts Mr. Wendel.
I would never pay with a survey or go to BWW by myself.
On a $13 bill, I probably would have given the waitress $5 if she was college/high-school aged and did a decent job. Probably $1 if she was older.

This was a terrible thread for many reasons that are not you being kinda sorta douchesque.
In Michigan, the minimum wage for a waitress in $2.65. They rely on tips for everything. Don't be a cheap bastard and just pay the people 15%-20% (or more) unless you get HORRIBLE service.

That's pretty low, mister! If I had a rubber hose, I would beat you...
Now knowing what 1995 is like all over again! Thank you 247 technology!!
"Dude likes crappy wings"
That sums it up. BWW is shitty all around... food, service, policies, etc. I will give them a mediocre for the environment.

I don't really care what minimum wage is, because I honestly don't think being a waitress should realistically be a "career". 20% is kind of ridiculous, especially with the general cost of food/drinks nowadays. I generally don't go below 15% unless the service is bad, but waitresses are very well compensated for doing what is essentially an unnecessary job.
You really showed her bro! you give god 10% why should you give her 18%
I now understand why servers outside the midwest hate midwesterners. TBH, when I was working in FL, the worst tippers were from MI, MN, AL, for some reason people from WI were good tippers, OH sucked too. They always had a great verbal tip, service has never been better, best time of their life, here is 15%. People from the northeast, Jersey, NY, MA, VA, at a minimum tipped 20% and if you joked with them, it wasn't too hard to get them to tip upwards of 30%. Plus those people ordered drinks and didn't run your ass off.
If you think it's an unnecessary job, just stay home and cook/serve your own damn food. Problem solved!
