One less coaching job open for Narduzzi and what does Kugler's son do?
Kugler accepts UTEP job Steelers source says

By Ed Bouchette / Pittsburgh Post-Gazette
Sean Kugler, who has been praised for his work as the Steelers offensive line coach the past three seasons, will be named head coach at UTEP.
Kugler was in Altoona this afternoon to watch the PIAA high school playoff game between North Allegheny and Wilson. His son, Patrick, is a senior guard for NA and has committed to play at Michigan.

Oh COME ON! Like State, Pittsburgh was fiiiiiinally supposed to have a solid o-line this year for the first time in a decade. Of course injuries sent that train over the rails, and now the coach is gone.
At least maybe scUM is down another commit.....
Thank you, Denicos.
Yeah cuz he's just gonna leave scUM for UTEP
Yeah, because kids never pass up bigger schools to play for their fathers.
Signed, Trey Ziegler and Ray McCallum, Jr.
I mean, his old man was an Oline coach in the pros. If anybody is going to do whatever they can to get him ready for the league its his own father.
Completely different sport
Who said anything about UTEP? I was just referring to the fact that the kid was a commit to a Midwestern school, and now that the family home was relocating, maybe he'd be interested in looking at schools closer to "home."
I know how much free laundry & meals every now and again meant to me. Why should he be any different?
Iowa 4-star fball commit left for IU bc his dad was hired as a recruiting coordinator.
Maybe that's why chubby has been pushing to get Dawson back and now trying to get Finley on board too.
Family could've made it know that there is a chance of pops becoming a HC and sonny thinking of joining him.
Patrick Kugler @Kugleybear57
I'm Michigan all the way!
This thread sucks!
He has another son that plays for PU.
He said that he was staying at Michigan.
Kugler is a center and Dawson is projected as a guard.
I know thats what they are listed at and currently expected to play, but scuM took so many OL commits the last two years there is bound to be some interchangeability here. Dawson also mentioned when he first committed to scuM that he would even play center if he had to.
Either way, was kind of hoping for a kick in the pants for Chubby, but oh well hope that happens if Dawson does the smart thing and goes Green!
The only problem with that is that if Sean Kugler has a little success at god forsaken utep then he moves on within a couple years and his son is stuck in El Paso unless he wants to sit out a year.
good, because that would only mean that Michigan would get their reusable shopping bag and come look through our commit list for the player they want to replace him with.
I think scholarship athletes get free meals.
I don't know your experience with dorm food, but I preferred my mother's cooking.
Sheesh. One silly comment, and people want to twist it every which way.
