Is fucking legit. May have to change my profile picture...
I was ok with it. It made me realize I am not too fond of Islay styles.
I did enjoy Glenfiddich 18 year. More to my liking for scotch. I guess that's to be expected given I like bourbons more.
I'm a big fan of the smokiness and peatiness of Islays. But yeah I could see why you'd prefer a sweeter scotch if you like bourbon.
The beginning and end of this and any discussions on scotch. Lagavulin 16 is a cloooose second
For the love of Trevor...™
I desperately want Lagavulin 16 but I can't justify spending 110+ on scotch yet. Once I get my first med school acceptance I may get one :p
Had some last night. Saving the rest for big spartan games.
Ardbeg Corryvreckan. As good as it gets IMO.
I've heard rave reviews of the Ardbeg Uigeadail and Supernova. Will need to try to sample all 3 of those. So far i've only had Ardbeg 10 and it was absolutely PHENOMENAL.
My shop has a Laphroaig 30 for 599. Just something to dream about.
My grandpa has some 60 year old bottles of Canadian Club in his bar.
Liquor generally doesn't age once its been bottled. For scotch. The age designation means how long it was in barrels before it was bottled.
