Came out flat in the second half today. Outscored by 14 in the second half and we looked clueless at times....> Refs, on he road, etc...
What the heck is going on... Some of these guys seem lost or not giving 100%. Dawson in last game, Appling playing terrible the last two game... Trouble in-bounding... Terrible defense on some in-bounds plays.
Just frustrated... Venting
Execution. Pure and simple.
Spartans ...committed to bring Paul Bunyan home in 2013.
I need more room for my signature
Your a retard.
Coaching today. How the fuck do you not slack off the white travis walton (craft)? Dude can't hit a three and we are pressuring him the whole time. Slack off and let the guy guarding him help on everyone else. HORRIBLE GAME PLAN today... 100% on the coaches.
How dare you.
Yep, didn't understand the defensive game plan at all. Our pick and roll defense has been piss poor recently - what the hell happened to the hard hedging this team used to do? We haven't been good at it since Suton graduated. We made Craft look like friggin' Tony Parker coming off that curl, and our bigs look clueless. That's on Izzo.
Can't tell if you're joking. You think we were playing the guy too tight who was the game's high scorer (21 points)? Unless you're saying that playing a little off him would have kept him from getting into the lane too much, I'm not sure what you're talking about.
"Look at this. An entire generation of Cinderellas, and there's no glass slipper coming." -- Mother in ALMOST FAMOUS
If you slack off and play for his penetration, (LIKE EVERY TEAM IN THE BIG TEN DOES VS CRAFT) he can't get easy layups like he got today and you just give him the 3. Remember how every team played vs travis walton???? it was 4 on 5 when he was playing offense on MSU. Same for craft and OSU except MSU played right into his hands. Unacceptable by the coaches today.
We're rolling over our TO's apparently. How is that execution?
Execution. Izzo did not suddenly forget how to coach basketball in the locker room at halftime today.
tRCMB - Visit at your own risk of being disgusted.
Izzp called it complacency, and I think that's exactly right. Like clobbering um was winning the NC.
Travis Walton is 100x the player and the man that flopping douche is
A little of both. It was an off game for the players. Izzo did not look too into the game today, but after the last two games against Michigan and Indiana I wasn't too surprised. Those two teams are our rivals and biggest competition in the league.
Ha who are we talking about?
He also said this:
Joe Rexrode @joerexrode
Izzo said Aaron Craft "tore us apart" and he took blame for a poor plan and adjustments.
Why didn't Appling just sag off Craft? It's obvious that he likes to drive and he can't shoot.
I think it seems that the refs have stopped calling moving screens. Perhaps we need to start planning for and using them... I haven't seen more than 1 or 2 of them called in the last 4 big games.
It's just like holding in football it happens so much but it rarely is called.
Some of the vagrants on this board really need to stop complaining about the officiating. It's really making us look like a bunch of losers and babies.
If there was execution it would have been all over the news.
I agree, they just haven't had the same focus. If that ends up being our biggest win of the season I'll be a bit disappointed. They need to find that focus again in April. And we need Appling and Dawson to start playing like Spartans again. I'm almost to the point where I'm saying they should give Byrd some more minutes.
They've had two bad games. They lost two games that pretty much every team but a dozen or so in the country would be expected to lose, and they didn't lose them by much.
Appling's in a funk. That's the big thing going forward. If he can get it back going, they can make a run. If he can't, they won't. Not going to play pseudo-psychologist and throw out things like "he's lost focus" or "he doesn't want enough" or other crap. But the team will have a lot of trouble making a run without him.
I have faith he'll work on improving and the team and the coaching staff will do all they can going forward. That's all I think a fan can ask for.
The kids are playing their tails off and the coaches are screwing it up!
The entire team.. should be....

Nίκη για MSU
One of the lowest moments in MSU history, ever. JLS was a nice guy but.... that's where any compliments to him stop for me.
